"To Y/n and Yuta!" All the interns and seniors cheered as they clanked their drinks. The moment was so carefree and joyful that even the rude interns were being nice to Yuta and Y/n. Now Y/n could only hope they would remain like that for the rest of the night. "Why aren't you drinking a lot Y/n?" One of her seniors asked, who was infamous for pressuring the interns into doing things they didn't want to.

"Ah, I just don't like alcohol. Trying to keep my figure" Y/n smiled at him, hoping that it would appease him. She was just as familiar with this senior so she knew what to do to make him stop. Usually, if you just treated him nicely he would stop—not because he respected it but because he had some weird fetish for 'feminine' and 'polite' women.

"Hm, yes it would be a shame for such a young beautiful woman like you to ruin your figure." He replied before going over to another group of interns, most likely to bother another girl. Y/n sighed before rolling her eyes in annoyance. "You're funny Y/n," Yuta stated while looking at her with a half smile. "What makes you say that?" Y/n raised her eyebrow in question with a slight smirk on her face. "Just how quick you are to change your facial expression." Yuta sighed before taking another sip of his drink. "It's a shame you couldn't go off on that senior," Yuta added while looking at Y/n, again with his puppy eyes.

"It is...but once I become well known I'd probably be the boss of him." Y/n snickered while taking a sip of alcohol, she never said she would deprive herself of it...just not go crazy on it like last night. Yuta hummed in response, sharing the same amount of confidence Y/n had for herself for her as well. Y/n felt a bit embarrassed saying that to Yuta however, if anything he'd probably become well known before her. "Maybe it's because we're still young and dream a lot but I hope one day that me and you could work together, Y/n. I think it'd be fun."

Y/n's lip curved into a smile at Yuta's innocent suggestion and playfully ruffled his hair, he was just too cute. "I hope so." Y/n poured herself some alcohol and clanked her cup against his. Y/n knew that she shouldn't be drinking so much, especially for a lightweight, but that cute suggestion deserved one shot! The two continued to talk, with Y/n finding every excuse or reason to have a shot for...so much for trying not to get another hangover. "I'm sleepy Yuta." Y/n yawned as she rested her head on his shoulder.

"Do you want me to call a taxi for you?" Yuta questioned, his face becoming a bit pink. "No, I just wanna stay here," Y/n mumbled while continuing to have her head rest on his shoulder. Yuta had never gone out drinking with Y/n for the few months they have known each other, they have gone out for a coffee a few times or lunch but never drinks. The time they did go out together was to work on their projects as well, sometimes they didn't even talk and just enjoyed each other's presence. "Um...Y/n are you drunk?" Yuta questioned while examining her face. "Why? Are you gonna leave me here?" Y/n mumbled with her eyelids dropped.

"No...I just don't want to leave you by yourself, so could you tell me where you live?" Yuta felt a bit flustered, he'd never seen Y/n act like this and it caused conflicted thoughts about the image he had of her in his head. He was sure though that she was drunk, the evident redness on her face and slurring of words proved that well. "Mmm...I don't know..." Y/n groaned while laughing a little. She then lifted her head from his shoulder and looked at him in the eyes, well as best as a drunk person could look someone in the eyes.

"You must think I'm a loser. If I was you...I'd think everyone was a loser." Yuta's eyes widened at those words, he knew that a drunk person's words weren't meant to be taken seriously but hearing those words felt all too familiar to Y/n's personality—the one she had when they first met. He was self-aware enough to know that the interns didn't like him but he never knew why they didn't like Y/n, that was until he finally got the courage to ask a few of the others.

"She's from money so she already had a head start compared to us. She acts snobby and stuck up to everybody who isn't on her level. I'm glad you're here Yuta, now we don't have to worry about humbling someone like her." One of the male interns joked lightly while patting his back and leaving the copy room. "Money..." Yuta mumbled under his breath. He also came from money but hearing those words come out from one of his colleagues made him decide it was safer not to mention it. He rubbed the part of his back that was touched and grabbed the papers he came for, with a few thoughts running through his head. Did only a few interns like him because he had 'better' talent than Y/n? Did Y/n know that people shared these thoughts? Were he and Y/n similar or different?

"I don't, I also don't think everyone is a loser. People can have so many ideas, no matter their talent at something. It even allows a different perspective from the outside." Yuta placed his hands on her shoulders while also returning the gaze. He soon let go though as he realized he was saying this to a drunk person, it would go through one ear and out the other. "Sorry," Yuta mumbled while sheepishly smiling. Y/n gave him a dumbfounded face before smiling. "Yeah, that's something you would say. That's the difference between us. Ugh, I hate you Yuta." Y/n sighed heavily before leaning her head back onto him.

Yuta could practically smell the perfume she was wearing from how close she was, she smelled fresh and sweet with a hint of vanilla, which was an addicting smell. "Y/n, do you want me to call a taxi for you or drive you home?" Yuta questioned while scratching the back of his neck, waiting for her response. The only response he received back was snores, however. Yuta's eyes widened when he saw that she had fallen asleep. He tried moving her to wake her up but it seemed she was a heavy sleeper. He sighed in distress as he was unsure what to do. He couldn't ask the other interns for her address because none of them were on friendly terms with her, and he couldn't just leave her here when there were creepy seniors around. The celebration was coming to an end soon so he had to figure something out. "Forgive me Y/n," Yuta spoke to himself before placing her arm on his shoulder and dragging her out of the restaurant.

He could already hear the dating rumors the other interns were going to start by the whole scene, but Yuta didn't care. He placed her in his car before getting into the driver's seat. Y/n adjusted herself to get more comfortable in his passenger seat before snoring even louder. He didn't know where Y/n lived and he could call someone on her phone because she had a password on it, so he decided the safest option would be for him to bring her to his place.

Yuta drove to his apartment in silence, only the mumbles and incoherent words Y/n spewed from time to time were heard. Yuta didn't struggle much with Y/n leaning on him to walk, what he struggled with was trying to prevent Y/n from tripping and falling along the way. "Okay Y/n, you can sleep here. If you feel like throwing up the bathroom is right there." Yuta pointed to the bathroom connected to his guest bedroom. He sighed as he gently placed Y/n on the bed and started to leave the bedroom.

"Yuta...Yuta~" Y/n got right up from the bed she was just placed on and walked over to Yuta, of course wobbly. She grabbed the sleeve of his sweater and looked at him in the eyes with a blank face as if examining every little detail there was to see. "Your hair is...it's not as dark as Suguru's." Yuta was puzzled by her statement, who was Suguru? The name sounded familiar but he couldn't quite exactly remember. He wanted to question her but his thoughts were quickly broken by a foul stench.

She had thrown up on him. "Shit," Yuta heavily sighed as the throw-up was all over her clothes and his sweater, and the stench made him want to throw up as well. He tried to keep his composure but he already knew—he knew this was going to be a long night.
