Chapter 5: A Surprise Reunion

Two days later.

It has been four days since Tenten left Hono and Mei is missing her deeply, she has been keeping herself busy by cleaning the house and making sure she doesn't strain her body as she's still recovering from her attack by Team 7 "I hope those assholes, got what's coming to them." she said then she was on her tiptoes cleaning dust off her portrait of a family of foxes but she hurt her wrist by accidentally twisted it "AH!... I better sit down for a bit." she said as she sat down on her couch and her legs cross then she put a wrist brace on.

While she looked after herself and a few Shadow Clones helping with the cleaning, Tenten finally returned with Ino as they were in front of Tsuki Osada the first Honokage, she was very surprised by Ino's reason but understood then she turned to Tenten's other guest who joined her just at they both were leaving Konoha, Tenten's other guest is none other than Hinata who wanted to see Naruto and she believes that Tenten knows where he is.

"Are you also joining our village Miss Hyuga, or are you just visiting to find answers." Tsuki said as she was very curious about her reason for joining Ino who gave her reason with purpose and wanted to be away from Konoha, "My answer is both...I know Tenten has found Naruto and he is here isn't he." she said showing a new side of herself and coming out of her shy shell "He is here Miss Hyuga, but 'he' isn't what he seems to be anymore." she said leaving Hinata confused then she turned to Ino who has an evil smirk on her face then Tenten who is blushing.

"Is it something I should be surprised about?." she asked Tenten but then Ino spoke up "It's very much a surprise Hinata, and trust me you'll enjoy it, even Naruto doesn't know we're here...Well apart from waiting for Tenten." Ino said as Tenten nodded her head confirming what Ino said, Tsuki gave Hinata a new head protector that Hinata strapped to her left arm "Anyway welcome to Honoagakure Miss Hyuga, I hope you'll enjoy your stay." Tsuki said then she turned to Ino and passed her a new head protector "And welcome to our side of the village Miss Yamanaka, I hope you'll enjoy your life here." she said as she dismissed them and the trio left her office to go and visit Mei.

Before they left the mansion both Ino and Hinata poked their heads from the door frame look at Tsuki "And Lady Honokage...Please just call us Ino and Hinata." Ino said then Hinata spoke up "There's no need for formalities, and we promise to pull our weight and do our job as your new shinobi." Hinata said then they both got a soft smile from Tsuki and a nod from her, they finally left and Tsuki was left with paperwork but she was lucky that it was just a small bundle and not a heavy load like she normally gets.

Thirty minutes later, Mei woke up from her nap, she looked a little confused, and rubbed her eye "I must have passed out..." she said then she got up and cracked her back but winched when she forgot about her sore wrist "Ow..." she said then she gently holds her sore wrist "I need to be careful..." just then she heard the door knocking "I wonder who could that be...I'm not expecting Father until tomorrow." she said to herself as she went up to the door then opened it to see Tenten standing there looking all sweet and caring in her eyes.

"TENTEN!." Mei yelled then she suddenly got kissed by her, Tenten made Mei's face blush dark red and steam came out of her ears as Mei softened up and wrapped her arms around her neck kissing Tenten back passionately, after a minute or two they broke their lips apart and they both sighed in relief "Just wow Tenten." Mei said looking all happy and softly smiling at her girlfriend "Yeah...That was...Just wow." she said as she got her breath back, Mei got confused when Tenten summoned a clone then she whispered in its ear and it went outside making Mei to look at Tenten with a confused look on her.

Tenten then had an evil smirk on her face as she went behind Mei and covered her eyes confusing her "Er...Tenten...What are out doing?." she said sounding confused and getting a little worried about her actions, "Trust me Blueberry, you'll love this surprise." Tenten said then she suddenly felt her arms warm as Mei's face was very red and getting warm "Blueberry...Where did that nickname come from?." she said wanting Tenten to tell her of the origin of her new nickname, suddenly Mei's lips gets attacked by unknown lips as it made contact of her lips and feeling her tongue being played with then the lips broke apart from her lips then Tenten removed her hands from Mei's hands showing who kissed her and Mei's nose did a nosebleed.
