Summer solstice is a very special day for the planet we are blessed to live on. It highlights the longest day of our year, marks when the planet leans the most towards the heat of the sun, and the large, yellowed, star shines the brightest for us to enjoy. Festivals, and celebrations are globally dedicated to this very exciting day.

In 2003, on June 21st, all of Brazil welcomed the first day of summer with open arms. What they didn't expect was a high turnout of Brazilian natives to parish on such a lovely day.

Many people roamed that halls or temporarily lived within the protecting Hospital Quali Ipanema just outside of Rio De Janeiro. Unfortunately, not a single soul survived after the clock read ten past noon— the time of day the sun was most powerful.

Now, there were two people capable of explaining this odd phenomenon. The doer, and the doer's adoptive mother.

Mizuki Chiyemi was a Traveling Phlebotomist born in the city side of Japan. Her greatest passion was experiencing other cultures and using her talents to help others in need. The thirty six year old woman lived off of a visiting visa for three short months. Her dedicated hospital right off the east coast of South America had grown to be her comfort place. This is why she stood devastated to see it burned and destroyed to nothing but ash and ruble. Her life was simply spared by the backed up streets that hosted the summer festivals.

Just when Mizuki felt her world coming to a harsh end, a newborn baby cried out to her, and a glowing orb of blinding light managed to melt away any lingering bricks from the destruction.

This abandoned baby was behind the massacre that took place at the hospital, but her innocent, round, eyes didn't know any better. It was only her uncontrollable emotions that held her hand through birth, that resulted to mass casualties. She was simply not meant for this world, but her she was, and here she would forever be loved by the hospitable Japanese woman.

Mizuki raised this girl single-handedly, even when people around the world were so quick to judge the two based on their contrasting colors of skin. Her daughter learned early on about her ancestral identity— her mother would never try to hide what made her uniquely her. One thing they did learn together, however, was the secret society of Jujutsu.

It was sort of forced upon them by a young white haired man claiming to be named Satoru Gojo. He showed up on their rental doorstep in the England city, Bradford, eagerly sharing the news that Mizuki Chiyemi didn't adopt no ordinary child.

The sun kissed girl had been talked about for centuries, and she was finally born in the greatest era of all.

Satoru Gojo finally found her when she was just nearing the age of thirteen, and he wasn't going to let a single scratch disgrace her beautifully tan skin. He was going to protect her, and her mother, from the true horrors he knew best.
