Me and Walker sat on the bench outside of Starbucks as we had just gotten our order. We decided to get some coffee because we still have a long day of filming and school ahead of us. I took a sip of my coffee and looked over at Walker. "Sooo" I trailed off not knowing what to say or what to do. Over these past couple of weeks, my feelings for Walker have been different, I blush whenever he looks at me, I get shivers whenever he touches me even if it's for the show, whenever I look into his eyes, I could just get lost in them forever. God what is happening to me I mentally slapped myself when I heard Walker speak up from beside me.
"so uhm..." he started as he turned to face me, I look over at him as I held my drink in my cold hands. I raised my eyebrow at him in confusion urging him to go on. "I was just wanted to know if you wanted to get lunch with me tomorrow?"
I smiled and nodded, "of course I'll go, we can bring-" I was about to say we could bring Aryan and Leah with us as well but he cut me off.
"just me and you, not with them" his smiles dropped as he was starting to get nervous. I giggled to myself as I noticed the clock behind him, we needed to get back to film our next scene.
"I'd love to, it's a date" I smiled as stood up and I started to walk back to the set with a smiling Walker following behind me.
We arrived at the set and both Leah and Aryan were there waiting for us. "There you are!" Leah yelled as she ran over to me bringing me into a hug, I hugged her back when she noticed the smiling Walker. "What's up with him?" She asked as she pointed at him, completely confused.
"I might have not agreed to go on a date with him" I smiled at her as my cheeks burned a bright shade of red. She let out a high pitched squeal as she was probably more excited than I was. I was freaking out.
"Omg you have been waiting for this forever!" She excitedly danced around me as she was fanning over the fact that he finally asked me out.
"Are you guys ready?" I heard the director ask Me, Walker, and Aryan as he walked up to us. Sadly Leah hasn't been shooting with us yet, but she will be soon, which I am so excited about!
"So ready!" I smiled and walked over to where we left off in the scene. Walker followed after me, we both sat on the bench.

Scene 2 - action Aurora's POV

Me and Percy sat on the bench outside of the school, our bags packed ready for us to be kicked out of yet another school. great. Just great. I thought to myself, still mad at Grover for ratting us out for something we didn't even do. I heard Mr. Brunner wheel himself up to me and Percy. Percy was just staring off into space as I fiddled with my bracelet.
"None of this is easy." Mr. Brunner spoke, catching the attention of both me and Percy. "Not for either of you, not for any of us." Mr. Brunner let out a sigh before he continued once again. "I'm very concerned about you, Percy, and you too Aurora. I saw what happened at the museum." I saw Percy roll his eyes before he responded to our teacher.
"I didn't touch Nancy, neither of us did" he grumbled, annoyed and just all in all angry at everything.
"I know you didn't." Mr. Brunner replied to the Percy's quite impolite tone of voice. "At least, I know you think you didn't." He continued, I turned to him completely confused.
"What are you-" Mr. Brunner cut me off by holding up his hand and asked the two of us,
"Do you want to tell me what you think did happen?" Our teacher paused as I could hear birds chirping in the background. "You can tell me. I might just understand" he insisted one of us, maybe even both of us, to explain what we thought had happened back at the museum.
"You wanna bet?" Percy replied as he turned to face Mr. Brunner, but all he got was a chuckle from the teacher. I just tuned them out as they started to argue, once again, about how Percy and I were "special" but we aren't that much different, right? I noticed Percy had stood up, as a car approached us, it was our ride so I got up as well, grabbing my stuff and heading over to the car, not even bothering to say goodbye to my favorite teacher. The car left right after Percy closed the door, I let out a sigh and leaned back into the seat.
After a long, silent car ride me and Percy arrived at his mother's apartment building, I could hear his stepfather, Gabe, through the door, yelling at someone but I don't know who. I had lived with the Jackson family ever since my mother passed away in a fatal car accident. I saw Eddie walk out of the room and he immediately greeted us with an apologetic smile.
"Hey Percy, Aurora" Eddie said as I saw him holding his tools in one hand, a plumber in the other. I just smiled at him, I didn't really feel like talking right now, my head hurt, and I was still mad at everything, and I didn't want to take it out on Eddie, he is such a kind person.
"Hey, Eddie, sorry about that." Percy apologized for Gabe as a fake smile covered Percy's lips.
"I'm walking out, you two are walking in. I should be apologizing to you." I let out a small giggle as i shook my head. He walked by us after he gave us another apologetic smile.
"Well let's do this..." I mumbled as I grabbed the doorknob and opened the door, to be meet with Gabe, sitting on his fat ass, his computer on his lap. I rolled my eyes and stepped out of the way so Percy could come in as well.
"Welcome home, geniuses" he greeted us as he held his soda in his hand, I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes.
"Is my mom home from work?" Percy asked, ignoring Gabe's childish remark. I just headed straight to Percy's room, leaving them to argue over whatever. I heard Percy walking closer to his room so I stepped out and that's when I noticed Sally sitting outside in the poring rain, listening to Olivia Rodrigo. I smiled as she hugged Percy. My eyes started to tear up, memories of my mother flooded through my head, causing tears to pool in my eyes, but I didn't let them fall.
"Come here, Aurora" Sally motioned me over and I gladly accept the hug, now me, Percy, and Sally were all standing in the hallway hugging. I sniffled and rubbed my eyes as we all pulled away, I let out a small laugh as Sally pulled out two small bags of blue jelly beans. My eyes immediately brightened when I saw them. "I had just enough time to get you two a welcome home gift." She smiled and handed both of us a bag. I mumbled a small 'thank you' before I put the bag in my pocket. "Mr. Brunner called me, too. He told me about Grover." I looked down as I tried not to show that I was angry at our friend. The tears came back again and I tried to get rid of them again, but they stayed this time.
"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked the two of us, and I just shook my head and whipped my eyes again. "Is there something else you wanna talk about?" She asked Percy as he kept looking down at the floor. He took a deep breath.
"Something happened to me. Something has been happening to me." he took a small pause before continuing "more than just my mind wandering and it got worse and... I'm scared." He confessed as he looked up at his mom.
She didn't respond for a few seconds, but when she did, she said something neither of us were expecting, "Gabe?" She called out and my eyes widened. What the hell... I thought to myself.
"Mom?" Percy asked confused, I mean I was confused too.
"I don't know how anyone expects me to get any work done-" he was cut off by Sally.
"Percy, Aurora, and I are leaving for Montauk" she stated before continuing "I'll... I'll have the car back by Sunday morning."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Since when were you going to Montauk?" Gabe asked confused and he leaned against the door.
"I called to reserve the place as soon as I got off the phone with Yancy." She placed her hands on her hips.
"Who's Yancy?" Gabe asked, probably the most stupid question ever, I rolled my eyes as a scoff left my lips.
"dumbass..." I muttered under my breath.
"The school." I heard Sally reply, completely done with Gabe's shit.
"Okay... and why exactly am I okay with this?" He asked as he looked at me and then Percy before looking back at Sally, who had her arms crossed over her chest
"Because on my way home on Sunday, I'm going to stop at D'Angelo's and pick up sandwiches in time for tipoff, but if you make this miserable, I'm gonna go anyway, and then I'm going to eat my sandwich and yours while I listen to the game on the radio." I listened to Gabe and Sally go back in forth as I stood in between them, awkwardly. I looked over at Percy and he shrugged just as confused on what to do as I was.
"You know I hate watching the Knicks alone." Gabe stated as he stopped leaning on the door frame.
"So do I!" Sally butted in as I snickered a little at the dumb argument they were having, well I don't really know if it's an argument but whatever.
"W- Make sure they put the hot peppers on my sandwich, please?" Gabe asked, rather aggressively.
"Not if you're going to ask like that." Sally said, her hands on her hips. Go queen I thought as I watched them bickering like children.
"I said please" Gabe said as he walked back into the other room, where his is probably going to just go sit down again. He had also aggressively told me and Percy to take our shoes off before we get in the car, and to make sure we don't get a single scratch on his precious car.
"We have a lot of things to talk about, but that storm is getting angrier, so let's get ahead of it." Sally stated as her back was turned to us, I'm guessing that she was packing her bag. "We'll talk at the beach okay? Pack your bags. Let's go." She told us as she walked away, but she made sure to give us both a pat on the shoulder before leaving us completely.
In the car, I had fallen asleep, my head resting on Percy's shoulder. I was in a dark place, like a void. Little puddles of water rested at my feet, I started to shake, not going to lie I was petrified. Scared was an understatement. I had been here before, I hadn't come back here for at least a month. "Who are you?" A voice spoke. I tried to reply but I couldn't, it was as if my mouth was sown shut. "So weak. So scared. So sad" it continued to speak. I stared at the glowing figure that stood a few yards away from me. "Run away, little hero, before you get hurt." a loud ringing noise coursed through my ears before I woke up, gasping for air.
It seemed Percy had just woken up from a nightmare as well, I placed a comforting had in his shoulder. "You okay, Percy?" I asked as I leaned forward ever so slightly, just enough so I could see his face.
We made it to the beach house and I placed my bag down inside, as I took a deep breath in, breathing in the nice fresh air, not really caring that I was getting soaking wet.
"We're here" I heard Sally speak to us, as we sat in the back seat. I notice her wipe away her tears, but I didn't say anything, I didn't want to worry Percy.
"on three?" Percy asked as he smirked and the two of us. I let out a giggle and nodded.
"Ready?" Sally asked as she got ready to get out of the car, I followed her actions, getting ready myself. "One... two... hey!" She started to count but me and Percy got out of the car on two, we both ran towards the cabin, Sally not too far behind us. Percy and I were laughing all the way to the front door.
I sat on the couch as Percy was in the bathroom, doing whatever he needed to do. He came out only a few moments later, and I smiled to him and nodded towards his mom as she was doing something in the kitchen. They started talking about marshmallows, and I started to doze off, thinking about the weird dream I had earlier in the car. Was it really a dream? Could Percy have had the same dream? Why have I heard that voice before? I kept asking myself questions when I felt someone tap my shoulder. I snapped out of it when I looked up to see Sally and Percy standing next to each other. "We all need to talk" Sally said as she gave me a soft smiled, a comforting smile. I just nodded a little confused, but I just went with it.
We sat in silence for a moment before Percy spoke up, "I'm used to feeling weird. I'm used to the world feeling weird to me. Like a puzzle with half of the wrong pieces." To took a small breath before he continued, "I try to pay attention. I really try, but... then I'm daydreaming. I can't help it. But lately... it hasn't felt like daydreaming. It's felt... I don't know. More real, maybe?" He finished as he looked down at his hands, he was going through the same thing I am  and I was confused, how could the two of us go through the same thing?
"I don't mean to interrupt you, Percy, but the daydreaming you have been talking about, I experience it too. Maybe it's just something wrong with our brains? I hear you talk to Grover about the things you see, the things other people think are just imaginary, well I see them too. I was just..." I paused not sure of how to word it. "I guess I was just too afraid to speak up, I thought you were already going through enough as is, I didn't want to put more on your shoulders." I let out a sigh before I talked again. "I don't know if you felt this too Percy, but at the museum, I-" I was about to say something but Sally cut me off.
"You saw something?" She asked as she looked over at me and I nodded, it was exactly what I was going to say. "Something that felt real to you, but no one else could see?" Both Percy and I nodded this time. "What did she say to you?" She asked both of us, looking at us curious.
"She? How did you know it was a she?" Percy asked, his eyebrows knotted in confusion. I saw Sally take a deep breath before speaking again.
"Do you know why we come to this cabin every year?" She asked Percy.
"Because it's near the septic tanks, so it's cheap." Percy stated his reasoning but Sally just shook her head. "Mom, how did you know about the thing we saw?" He asked, he was starting to get upset, I could tell.
"We come to this place every year because this is the place I met your father." She told him, ignoring his question.
"why do I come then?" I asked and she looked over at me, with a smile.
"Your mother told me to bring you here, not because it's where she met your father but because she isn't your birth mother." She tried to explain it as best as she could without trying to reveal too much at a time. What?! My mind screamed as I was heartbroken, my mother wasn't really my mother?! I was left in thought as Percy brought back the subject of his own father.
"My dad? What does my dad have to do with this?" Percy asked his mother waiting for an explanation, he was so confused.
