"Sweet heart I know that derek is faltered with such a nice compliment but we need you to focus." Said Mellisa to grace.
"Ok." Said grace still looking at derek.
"Who did this to you? " said sheriff with concern.
I can't tell them anything. How will they react when they'll know that I'm not from this dimension? I have to hide the truth. After all that I've been through, I can't involve anyone in my life. They're humans and I'm a mage. They won't even trust me. I have to hide the truth.
"Grace it's ok.. you're fine here. No one will hurt you here." Said scott with smile.
"I uhhh I don't remember. " I lied.
"She's lying guys." Erica whispered so only ware wolf heard her.
"Grace I know that you're lying. " Said Boyd.
"No." I said immediately to defend my lies.
"I saw you. You came from a bright blue light." Boyd said.
"No. You're wrong." I said trying to convince him.
"Did you here that grace?" Erica asked.
"What?" I asked with confusion.
"The sound of your heartbeat and it says that you're lying." Erica said with her evil smile.
"What is wrong with you people?" I panicked.
"Enough with the lying grace. You're hiding the truth from us." Sheriff said .
"You won't believe me." I whispered.
"I will believe you grace. " Said derek holding my hand.
"I mean how bad can it be. Huh. " Stiles commented.
"Here goes nothing. " I paused and said " I'm the daughter of Igneel. He's the king of fire dragons. And I--- " Stiles cuts me off.
"What? Is it suppose to be some kind of joke?" He laughed " Well guess what it's not funny grace."
"I'm not lying." I said awkwardly
"Yeah you're not lying. Even my father is a dragon." Erica laughed .
""Seriously grace? You can do better then this." Said Jackson making fun of grace.
Even Isaac tried to control his laughter. And everyone thought grace is lying and trying to protect someone. A Tear escaped from grace eyes and she wiped it immediately.
"Who do you think you're talking to? Huh.. I'm the daughter of Igneel and I won't allow you pathetic humans to make fun of my father. " I said with anger.
"Pathetic?" Said Jackson and giving his death glare and everyone else were just staring at me..
"Are you threatening us? It's you who is lying about a dragon and--" I cut off erica.
"You say that one more time and I will burn you alive. I'm a fire mage." I said proudly.
"Listen you-- " Derek cut off erica.
"Let her finish." Derek growled and said " Listen to her heart."
And everyone was quiet.
"Grace we will believe you. Say whatever you have to say." Scott said politely.
"I won't be talking to any of you." Grace said with disgust.
"Will you talk to me?" Derek asked calmly and I automatically nodded.
"Everyone leave us alone." Derek ordered.
"But I have to stay here derek." Said sheriff showing his authority.
"No." I said avoiding any eye contact with sheriff.
"Fine. Derek tell me every single detail. " Said sheriff and eveyone left derek and me alone.
"I believe you grace." Said derek slowly moving his hands in my hairs.
"I'm a fire mage derek. I'm not from this world." I said and paused.
"Go on." Said derek with smile.
"To protect my guild and my brother natsu from the powerful dark wizard zeref, I left. " I said.
"Guild?" Derek said raising his eyebrow.
"Fairy tail." I replied.
"Did zeref did this to you?" Said derek touching my collar bone and nodded.
"I will rip his throat out with my teeth." Derek said with anger.
"He can't come here derek. The open the portal a large amount of power is required and zeref don't have it for now." I said with relief.
"She's telling the truth." Said Scott.
"No way." Boyd sigh.
"Well I need prove." Said erica rolling her eyes.
"Listen to her heartbeat." Peter said sarcastically.
"But guys how's this even possible? A guild? Drogons? Dark wizard? Portal? " said stiles with confusion.
"If she's a mage then she can do some sort of magic to convince us that she's actually a mage." Said Isaac.
"Well it looks like that derek already trust her." Jackson commented
"Derek I know that no one can believe all this but I can show you. " I said with smile.
"You don't have to. I trust you." Derek assured me.
"I want to show you. I'm not in good shape but I can still manage to show you my flames." I said
"Then show me." Said derek and took few steps away from me.
I took a deep breath and looked at derek and then my right arm was on fire. Poor derek he was so confused. He is probably thinking how I can do this.
"Derek can you touch my flames?" I asked.
"Your flames?" Derek said with confusion.
"Yes." I said.
Derek came closer and touched my arms. My flames were gently touching his hand and he was suprised and so was I. Magic never lies. I do care about derek but why?
How is it even possible? I just met him.
