'Friend Date'

I walked out the kitchen to see Ashton sitting on the floor with his knees up to his chest, his head on his knees. Um.... somethings up. Why was he sitting on the floor.... I mean... I totally understand how it's comfortable sitting on the floor... but Ashton rarely sits on the floor. The other thing is that.... I think I could hear him cry.

"Um.... Ash are you okay?" I asked trying to be comforting. Ugh! I am very bad at these things... always awkward

"Yes!! Now go and get ready for your date with Luke!!" he snapped. Oh my god.... he thinks that I'm dating Luke

"Ash you don't underst-" he cut me off. "Yes I do!!! Your going on a date so you best get going and get ready!!" he snapped again. My heart hurts, I could barely breathe. It felt like poison was filling up my lungs.

Tears stung my eyes. I grabbed my stuff and ran out of the door.... without my shoes on but OF COURSE I took them because they are my favorite shoes!!

I ran to my house without realizing that I was still in my onesie so everyone driving by me is staring at me. I really didn't care about that... them. I really had to talk to Luke. 

I ran upstairs and quickly took a shower. I finished my normal routine and looked in the mirror. My eyes were red and poofy. I got my outfit out which is a sleeveless shirt that says 'Suck my Richard', ripped black jeans, star printed shoes, 2 rings, and my bracelets. (All in the External Link)

I went to my life sized mirror and looked at myself. I looked at my shirt and started to giggle. Suck my Richard!!!!!

I went to where Alex was which is the Guest room. "Hey Al!"

"Hey Ara girl!!" he used his sassy voice

"Are you going to my graduation?" 

"Of course lil sis!! You're my lil sis so I have to because if I don't then mom would kill me but I still love my lil sis!" He was about to ruffle my hair when I grabbed his hand and put it back

"Yay!! Oh and I'm going to hang out with a friend real quick! See you later!!" I ran down stairs and waited for Luke.

It was currently 11:54 am. My phone started to ring and it's obviously Luke.

"Hey custard head!"

"Custard head? That's a new one.... Anyways get out of your house and get in the car"

"It sounds like your trying to kidnap me"

"Maybe I am" 

"Yeah... sure" I said while grabbing my bag and opening the door

"Anyways... see you there" He said when I was literally 3 steps away from him

I opened the door and got in the passenger's seat. "Hey" I said quietly

"Hi!!! Now lets go!!"

"Where are we going...." I sounded like a 5 year old.

"We're going to starbucks because that's where we met... DUH" Luke said with an obvious tone

"Ok...." 

-----Time Skip-----

We got our drinks and sat at the table I sat at before.

"So.... Before I left... Ashton was sitting on the floor with his head against his knees... and it sounded like he was crying... and..." i trailed off and looked at Luke

"And...?"

"And... I asked him what's wrong.... but he just snapped at me saying 'get ready for your date with Luke'. I ran out and grabbed my stuff sobbing all the way to my house....." I said very quietly.

"Oh... so he misheard what I said.... when we were talking in the kitchen?" 

"Um... I guess so" I said while I sipped my drink

"Wow.... so he technically eavesdropped on us talking..." Now that I realize it.... he did actually eavesdrop on us.

"Oh yeah... he did..." 

"We should go back to our house and explain to him what actually happened.... but after you tell me what happened on your date" 

I told him everything. I told him about how we won each other an elephant, what we did and all that stuff. It made me feel like I can tell him EVERYTHING. Like he is my best friend that I can always trust but after tomorrow... he might think I'm just a liar.
