Awakening.

The feeling of cool air wiped past his face causing him to shudder, despite the fact it was warm. The constant creak of the box moving side to side droned on like rusty chain. The cadge kept on escalating upwards at a painfully slow pace. Never stopping.
A rumbling groan came from his belly signalling he was hungry and he could feel the gnawing emptiness. The sounds were once again blocked out by the nail scraping of the cadge, still escalating upwards.
Questions clouded his brain like mist. They were screaming at him. Where am I? How did I get here? More importantly who am I? He couldn't remember anything and it was painful. Not remembering who you are is one of the worst thing to have happened to you. 'What kind of idiot does not remember his own name?' He thought.
As he tried to rise to his unsteady feet he fell. He repeated this act but all was in vain. It was pointless.
Instead he thought. Age was the starting point to remembering who he was. Seventeen maybe that was his age. He didn't feel so young to be called a child but not old enough to be an adult. Then there was the name. A name is like a possession and is very hard to lose. It reflects on who your are and it was the key to remembering what was once forgotten.'Jason? Nope' he pondered. It didn't suit him. 'What about Dylan?' Didn't fit either.
The cadge began to slow down. He impulsively stood, head hung low trying to avoid the top of the metal crate. Then it came to an abrupt holt causing him to fall onto his back again. For the first time in a agonising hours silence fell like a blanket. Smothering any minor sound out. Then a drone came from above as the tunnel doors were opening allowing light to seep in.
