small barefoot entered Charlie's room, walking calmly to the young boy's bed without realizing he was there, shrouded in darkness and the large blanket. Slowly, the youthful figure approached the bed, beginning to fly above the black-haired boy who slept there.
- Is it her, Tinker Bell? - asked the mysterious boy to the small light flying next to his head. It was revealed that the tiny spark of light was a beautiful fairy with slightly tousled blond hair, wearing a greenish dress resembling leaves. The little fairy made a sound similar to small magical bells, waking up Charlie, who remained motionless under the blanket, sensing the presence of the two individuals flying above him.
(What's happening?!... Who's here?) Charlie inquired, slightly alarmed by the situation. The flying figure approached the bed more, almost touching the blanket.
- Come on, it's time to wake up... I came to get you, Wendy! - said the mysterious boy, pulling Charlie's blanket animatedly. Startled, Charlie instinctively slapped the flying figure, making him recoil. When Charlie turned on the lamp, he finally saw who it was: a blond boy in peculiar attire.
- What the...? - exclaimed Charlie, sitting on his bed, looking surprised at the blond boy.
The blond boy looked at Charlie, surprised, while the little fairy glared at him angrily for the slap. The leaf-clad boy landed on the floor, and Charlie, looking at him, realized it was Peter Pan.
- Peter Pan! - shouted the blond, interrupting Charlie.
- I didn't know Wendy had another brother - said Peter, confused.
- Wendy? - questioned Charlie.
- Yes, Wendy! Where is she? I want to take her to Neverland, - said Peter, excited.
Charlie, sadly, revealed that Wendy was no longer present.
- Peter... Wendy... - Charlie began.
- Yes? Where is she? I promised her I would come back to her, - said Peter, not understanding the situation.
Charlie sighed and simply said:
- Wendy is my great-grandmother, and she... passed away... a few years ago, Peter.
Peter initially laughed, thinking it was a joke, but noticing Charlie's seriousness, he approached him.
- Haha, that's very funny, stop this joke...- said Peter, touching Charlie's shoulders, who kept his serious gaze down.
The impact came to Peter's mind, and, enraged, he began to shake Charlie forcefully.
- Stop playing! Wendy is not dead! She's alive! Alive! - shouted the boy, while Charlie remained motionless, tears appearing on his dark face. Peter then stopped shaking Charlie and stepped back, and Tinker Bell calmly flew to him, trying to calm him down, but he moved away from her, tears streaming down the little blond boy's face.
- W-Wendy... my Wendy... it can't be... no... no...- murmured Peter, lowering himself to the ground, crying, hugging his knees tightly.
Charlie wiped his own tears and approached Peter gently. The dark-haired boy lowered himself a bit and touched Peter's hair, starting to caress it gently, trying to relax him.
- I'm sorry, Peter... really...- said Charlie, continuing to caress Peter's hair.
Trying to compose himself, Peter lifted his head, looking at Charlie, who was smiling kindly at him, trying to comfort him.
- You... you look a bit like her... have her touch... - Peter remarked, giving a somewhat awkward smile to Charlie, who just chuckled a little.
- Well, she didn't have black hair, but... yeah, I guess... I don't know,- Charlie said in an ironic tone.
Calmly, Peter stood up, wiping his tears and quickly smiling at Charlie with a touch of arrogance, as he always did. He then approached Charlie, getting extremely close, making the boy blush.
- As Wendy is no longer here... I'll take you to Neverland!
- What?! - exclaimed Charlie, surprised by Peter's sudden proposal. He took a step back, feeling a bit dizzy with all that information. Charlie sighed calmly, looked at the window of his room, the same window Peter had entered through. Quickly, the dark-haired boy looked at Peter and smiled excitedly.
- All right! Let's go to Neverland!
Peter smiled upon hearing that and flew upwards, looking at Charlie with enthusiasm.
- Well, you already know what to do! Have...
- Happy thoughts!- Charlie interrupted, smiling at Peter. Then, he closed his eyes but quickly opened them and said:
- Oh, and magic dust, of course, hehe.
Peter laughed, gave a mischievous smile, tapped Tinker Bell's wings a bit on Charlie's head, releasing a golden magical powder that covered Charlie's body magically.
Charlie smiled and then closed his eyes again, sighed, began to think of his childhood, happy moments with his family, friends, watching TV, playing with his toys, and especially... when his mother told him stories. Charlie opened his eyes and saw that he was floating in the air. This made him burst into a cheerful laugh, and he started to fly around the room, feeling light and happy. Peter then approached him, holding his hand calmly, looking at Charlie.
- Shall we?
- Let's! - said the dark-haired boy excitedly.
And so, Peter flew along with Charlie to the window of the boy's room as fast as he could. However, for a moment, Charlie hesitated, making Peter confused.
- What's wrong? - Peter asked, turning to look at Charlie without letting go of his hand.
Charlie looked at his room sadly, and his body trembled for a moment as he remembered his mother in his room telling stories. However, he suddenly remembered what he had seen on TV earlier. But this memory quickly froze and disappeared from the mind of little Charlie, as if he had erased it... for now.
Peter then approached Charlie's ear calmly, and the boy felt Peter's breath very close, making his whole body shiver with that.
- Forget everything, Charlie, forget this life, let's... - Peter said calmly in Charlie's ear.
Little Charlie then smiled, looked at Peter, nodded his head, indicating they should go. Peter just smiled mischievously, held Charlie's hand firmly, and then, with speed, flew with him out of that room through the window he had entered. Tinker Bell sighed and flew right behind them.
