Charlie stood there frozen for a moment, his face a little red from what he had just heard from the child next to him. He looked at the ground without making eye contact with Peter because he was embarrassed by it.
Peter just laughed happily as he looked at Charlie's red face, but he also felt his face redden slightly, not understanding that properly.
- W-Well, I don't know if I can be your mother... after all, I'm a boy so it's a bit complicated, you know - Charlie asked, raising his head and trying to compose himself while looking at the children around him.
- But you tell stories like Peter's Wendy, so you could be our mother! - The two twins Sol and Luna spoke in sync to Charlie.
Charlie looked at Peter who just rolled his eyes, smiling at the boy and shaking his shoulders slightly. And then young Charlie just sighed and smiled at the kids.
- It's okay... I'm going to be your mother... I think heh - He said.
- Yeeeeee - shouted the excited children as they quickly jumped on top of Charlie, knocking him to the ground and making him laugh. Peter smiled and walked towards them calmly as he looked at the mess.
- All is well then! Let's take Charlie to the den so he can tell us stories while we eat some food and then we'll go visit the tribe! - Peter said, smiling at the lost boys who quickly got up off Charlie and ran in a straight direction.
Peter calmly held Charlie's hand and lifted him off the ground and calmly walked with him in the same direction where the children had gone. Charlie just fixed his hair a little that had been messed up by the big hug from the various children while he also looked around and then smiled when he saw Tinkerbell land on his shoulder and sit there gently.
After walking a little Peter and Charlie arrived at a large tree while Tinkerbell just flew up the tree leaving Charlie confused and then Peter just guided Charlie to a small passage inside the tree lowering his head a little so neither of them hit any branch. and then unexpectedly the two fell into a type of slide that led into the tree. That made Charlie scream in surprise, making Peter let out small laughs at the scared expression the brunette had. And then finally after slipping, the two had arrived at Peter and the lost boys' house, speaking of them, each of the lost boys were scattered around the place playing with wooden swords like Luna, Sol and Dylan or playing with dolls and dolls that they had found as Arthur, Mark and Alana. Peter let go of Charlie's hand and ran to sit on his chair that looked like a throne for a king.
- Welcome to our house Charlie! - Peter said, opening his arms with a mischievous smile on his face.
Charlie smiled as he observed the place detail by detail, even though it seemed simple, it was fantastic to Charlie.
All 9 children smiled excitedly at Charlie and then ran to Peter's throne, each standing next to him while he looked at Charlie nonstop.- Tell us and mommy and daddy a story! - Arthur said, jumping excitedly.
