The two walked out and went towards the direction of the school. Once they got there, she heard someone call her name.
" Lain! "
Lain turned around, and saw a figure running towards her whilst waving. She noted the big smile on their face as she stood there.

Lain spotted her friend Alice running to her. " Alice? "
" Gee, why is she in such a good mood this morning? " Ain asked, Lain shrugged.
" I'm not sure but something seems off. "
Alice approached her. " Lain! I cannot believe how much fun we had in Cyberia! I'm definitely dragging you along with us again sometime. "
" Cyberia? But... "
" Lain was with me the entire time. " Ain said, confusion evident on her face.
" No way! Lain was with us last night. " Julie said.
" But I'm serious! Lain was with me. "
" Impossible! "
Lain's eyes widened in realization. She wasn't in Cyberia but she was. She thought she solved the entire situation before, why is it happening again? Panic rose from within Lain as she looked around.
" Lain? What's the matter? "
Lain didn't respond, she couldn't hear them from her heart pounding in her ears. The pounding drowned their voices and soon her ears started ringing.
" Lain? "
Their voices became muffled by the high pitch ringing and the sound of her heart pounding away.
She didn't understand.
What was going on?
Why was this happening again?
No-no, she fixed this problem.
For sure, right?
No... This couldn't be happening again.
She didn't want to become another face on the screen.
Why?
Why?
Why is the cycle repeating?
No, she must still be asleep.
She resolved that issue.
