As Megumi prepares for school, he stands on a stool in front of the bathroom mirror, trying to fix the collar of his school uniform. He adjusts it several times, making sure it sits perfectly around his neck.

A tie lies on the back of the toilet seat, untouched and neatly folded. Megumi looks at it, feeling a bit perplexed as he has never tied one before. He hesitates, wondering if he should try to figure it out on his own or ask for help.

The young boy leaned his head back and peered out from the wide-open bathroom door.

"(Y/n)..." Megumi called out to the male knowing that he was still in the apartment.

"Yes, Megumi?" (Y/n)'s voice could be heard calling back from where he was in the living room.

"I um... I need help," Megumi mumbled but it was loud enough for the other person to hear him.

It didn't take long for a set of footsteps to head in his direction and stop at the bathroom door.

"What'd you need help with?" (Y/n) asked, looking at the young with a single brow raised.

Megumi reached over and picked up the tie, holding it out.

(Y/n) watched the boy look away with a look of embarrassment on his face which caused the older male to chuckle.

"C'mere," (Y/n) says as he gestures to the boy to step down from the stool that he was standing on so that the raven-haired boy could stand in front of him.

Megumi stepped off the stool and followed the (H/c)-haired male's gesture of standing in front of him.

The boy stayed quiet as the taller male started working on the tie that went with his school's uniform.

"Is there anything special going on today at school?" (Y/n) asks Megumi who decides to look at him with a frown on his lips.

"We're having a new kid... They're transferring from Sendai," Megumi answered.

"A new kid, huh? That's cool," (Y/n) replied.

Megumi muttered, "I just hope the teacher doesn't sit the new kid beside me."

"Who knows? Maybe this new kid will be a close friend of yours," (Y/n) states with a slight shrug of his shoulders.

Megumi scoffed as he gave an annoyed look. "I doubt that," he shook his head.

(Y/n) sighed softly before placing his hands on Megumi's shoulders once he was finished putting the tie around the boy's neck and crouched down to his height.

"I completely understand if you don't feel like becoming friends with them, but could you please try to get to know them? They're new to the school, and it can be tough for them to adjust. I'm sure they would appreciate your kindness and support," (Y/n) says.

Megumi stared quietly for a few moments before looking down and giving a small head nod. "I'll try," he whispered.

(Y/n) smiled at the boy and gave him a head rub. "Thank you," he replied before standing up on his feet.

"Your father already left for work, so it looks like it's just me and you," (Y/n) explains.

Megumi nodded his head once more. "I'm ready now," he tells the older male.

(Y/n) hummed lightly as he stepped out of the way so that Megumi could leave the bathroom.

"Let's get you to school then. I'll be picking you up later unless you want your father to," (Y/n) states.

Megumi shook his head. "I'm fine with you picking me up," he quickly replied.

The raven-haired boy wasn't a huge fan of his father, Toji, picking him up seeing as the man has a habit of being an hour or two late.

(Y/n) gestured for the boy to follow, the two of them leaving the apartment not long after locking the front door behind them.

Megumi stood outside the school building, his eyes fixed on the structure with a deep sense of distaste and annoyance.

He wished he didn't have to be there, but he knew he needed an education.

As he stood there, lost in thought, he heard (Y/n) say goodbye before driving away.

The surrounding area was bustling with activity as kids of his age and slightly older walked past him, chatting and laughing with their friends.

Sighing deeply, Megumi started walking towards the entrance of the school. The sounds of excited chatter filled his ears as he made his way through the crowds of students.

He tried his best to ignore them, keeping his head low and avoiding eye contact.

He didn't want to draw any unwanted attention to himself.

With a heavy heart, Megumi made his way to his classroom, knowing that the day ahead would be a long and difficult one.

"Good morning class!" A man with short, messy white hair and a set of vivid blue eyes greeted the kids with a wide smirk on his lips.

"Good morning Gojo-sensei," multiple students replied except for a select few.

Megumi quietly rolled his eyes at his teacher's enthusiastic personality on a school day that had just started.

Satoru Gojo, or Gojo-sensei to his students, stood in front of his desk leaning against it.

"As you all know, we will be getting a new kid added to our class today. So, I hope you all can be welcoming and make friends with him," Gojo states.

Suddenly, a knock at the classroom door was heard making everyone turn their attention toward him.

"Come in!" Gojo called out.

The classroom door slid open and a young boy about Megumi's age stepped inside.

A set of honey-colored eyes could be seen along with an undercut of pink messy hair.

Megumi stared at the new kid with an aloof, but indifferent look on his face, clearly not impressed when he saw a giant smile on the new kid's lips.

Gojo chuckled. "Introduce yourself to the class," he kindly ordered.

The new kid stood beside the desk, gripping the straps of his book bag that he was carrying around with him.

Within a second, the boy bowed.

"Yuji Itadori, I'm from Sendai. It's nice to meet all of you!"
