(Y/n) doesn't know how long it has been since he had dropped off Itadori at his new home, made Megumi dinner, and sent the boy to bed after he had finished getting ready for the night for school tomorrow.

A heavy sigh escaped his lips as he leaned into the couch while scrolling through the television that was inside the apartment that belonged to Toji.

The (H/c)-haired male had yet to receive any sort of call or text from the man so he had no clue if Toji was on his way.

Suddenly, the sound of the front door being unlocked and opening captured (Y/n)'s attention which caused him to turn his head and look over at the door.

"I'm home," Toji's low voice rang out into the apartment room.

"And where the hell have you been? You were supposed to be back hours ago," (Y/n) asked as he got up onto his feet and approached the green-eyed male.

Toji rolled his eyes. "Damned co-worker of mine fucked up a project that was being polished before we turned it in," he answered.

Toji then looked around the apartment, noticing how silent it was.

"Where's the little shithead?" Toji questioned, raising an eyebrow at his (H/c)-haired neighbor.

"Gumi's fast asleep for school tomorrow. He's already done with his homework, dinner, and taking a shower," (Y/n) answered.

Toji released a low grumble of a hum from his lips. "Any leftovers?" He questioned.

(Y/n) nodded his head. "It's in the microwave," he replied.

Toji nodded his head in appreciation as he headed into the kitchen to eat whatever was leftover from tonight's dinner.

"You know you can go back to your apartment, right?" Toji pointed out as he opened the microwave just to take out a bowl from it.

"I know," (Y/n) replies with a slight shrug of his shoulders. "I'll leave when I finish talking with you," he added.

Toji raised an eyebrow as he put chopsticks full of food into his mouth.

"What the hell did I do this time?" Toji asked, quirking a single eyebrow.

"It's not about you... It's about Megumi," (Y/n) corrected.

"What'd the shithead do this time?" Toji questioned with a tired, but annoyed sigh leaving his lips as he waited for (Y/n) to continue talking.

"You remember the conversation this morning, right? How he was asking if I was seeing anyone?" The (H/c)-haired male replied.

"That? Yeah, I remember. What about it?" Toji kept his green eyes on the (H/c)-haired male, his attention switching between his neighbor's lips and face as the other spoke.

"Well, I think he's planning something," (Y/n) began, immediately noticing how Toji's green eyes kept looking at his lips but decided not to say anything since he didn't want to call out the other man quickly.

"And that is?" Toji questioned.

(Y/n) sighed heavily as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Your son is seriously trying to get us together. Damn it, Toji," he points out as if it was obvious.

Hearing his words, Toji stared at the (H/c)-haired male in disbelief.

"Are you sure?" Toji asked.

"Yes, I'm sure," (Y/n) answered as he gave a small head nod.

Toji grumbled lowly as he continued to eat, trying to think of what to say next.

(Y/n) ran a hand down his face, a sigh leaving his lips. "We'll continue this conversation tomorrow. It's late, and I have to wake up early tomorrow to both of you up and ready for school and work in the morning," he says, breaking the awkward silence between the two of them.

The (H/c)-haired male picked up his belongings which weren't much. "I'll see you two tomorrow, Toji. Goodnight," he tells the other male before leaving Toji's apartment and closing the door behind him.

Toji could hear the footsteps that belonged to (Y/n) walk away to the apartment room just to the right of his, the sound of a door opening and closing not too long after.

A groan escaped the raven-haired man's lips.

"God damn it."
