"Wait so you're telling me that if I catch that person that was just there you're going to give me a discount? Yeah no." Eda said. "H-how about it's on the house! I-I can give them to you right now but just catch that bitch so I can put them in there place," the stand owner said.
"I can't believe I'm doing this." Eda said after getting the elixirs. "Catching some random kid? Oh how I went from "The most powerful witch in the boiling isles!" running away from the government to catching street kids just because they stole." Eda walked for a moment before stopping. "You know I could always just go back to The owl house."
After Luz ran from rowing what Eda would do if anything was too expensive, punch em and steal, she ran bumping into a couple people here and there but managed to go into a dark alley and stop to catch her breath. Her look had changed with her hair being longer and the change of clothes. Instead of wearing her cat hoodie with a gray tank top underneath and leggings with shorts she had started wearing a grey hoodie with her regular witches cape and long thick but comfortable pants.
"Jeez that dude was a total dick."
Luz heard Eda talking to herself and froze. She couldn't be here, Luz had to find away to o ode her. Thankfully she had a bag with another cloak in it. Luz grabbed it and changed it along with putting the stuff she had stole in the bag and came out trying to act natural. "Hey kid, have you seen a kid about your high with a book and a potion?" Eda asked unknowingly talking to Luz. Luz tried not to reveal herself or her voice so she made it deeper and tried not looking up at her as much. "Nah probably ran away," Luz said making her voice deeper but also internally scolding herself.
"Yah know, you sound a lot like Luz," Eda said making Luz stiffen up. "You mean the human?" Luz asked trying to make it sound like it wasn't her. "Yeah," Eda said getting more suspicious. "Oh Luz the Human! Yeah she's good kid, anyways gotta go!"
Luz moved by her trying to run away without making it look too suspicious before Eda grabbed her arm revealing many burn and cut scars. "You know, I do this to people much buuut-" Eda took down Luz's hood making her freeze even more. Eda was looking at her head. Luz froze. She couldn't face a scold from Eda or anyone. She couldn't face Amity and everyone, not right now. Luckily Luz was wearing a mask she made to at least cover everything except for her nose and right eye. She had ran out of materials when making it so it wasn't complete. "You sure you don't know where the thief is?" "Positive."
Luz ran out of the night market tripping on a rock. Why is she running? She didn't want to encounter Eda again after what she had done. Luz ran until she couldn't and collapsed. StringBean had been the one keeping Luz from hurting herself more and helped Luz with panic attacks that she would get more often. Luz missed everyone, it was no surprise but she didn't want to face them, not now, not ever. Once they find out that she had been up at the knee then they would be furious. Eda had gone up there with King and Evan to check but Luz was able to avoid them long enough.
Stringbean hissed at Luz trying to get her to talk to Eda. "I know String but you know why I can't talk to her," Luz replied sighing. "Look, how about I'll think about it ok?" That got her excited. Stringbean wanted to go back and play with the other Palismens (specifically Ghost, they got along great probably because of their masters dating).

Eda flew back to the owl house in a rush. She swore that the person was Luz, she knew how Luz sounded when she attempted making her voice go deeper and that person sounded exactly like Luz. She had changed the question from being, "Luz what the hell were you thinking," to "you sure you don't know who stole?" What was she thinking?
Instead of going for a joy ride and looking for some kid who stole she could've gone back and mope around even more with everyone. Thankfully she didn't so know she knows where she is. All she needs to do is go back and make a tracking potion, luckily for some weird reason a piece of hair was on the shoulder where Eda had touched so the hair stuck to her. Eda had no idea how human hair could do that. She could probably ask Evan or Gus.
That didn't matter right now, right now Eda had to go home and tell everybody the good news. News that she finally has a track in finding Luz.
I finally got another chapter done! Woo! I have to more stories that I'm making (both at the same time and it's annoying) and ones a She ra x Female reader story, let's hope I update the first chapter soon, and a Harry Potter one, another Y/N story in the making which I also hope I get the first chapter done pretty soon.
Also most of the songs I have on my playlist are all by the same artists and I'm not even kidding but all of there songs are literally after another song by the same artist. Like Melanie Martinez, her portal songs that I have are right after each other and after that her afterschool ep are right after the Portal songs like I'm not even kidding and it's on shuffle so.
