(A/N: I am so sorry this has taken so long to get out I've just had like 0 motivation for this book but HERE YOU GO! After like )

"Ellie, wake up! Wake up! Wake up! WAKE UP!" Penny screeched loud enough to wake the entire neighbourhood as she entered Eleanor's room. Eleanor groaned as her sister jumped onto her bed and shook her body lightly. "IT'S CHRISTMAS! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!"

"I'm awake! I'm awake, my god." Eleanor groaned again as she sat up and her sister wrapped her arms around the girls torso tightly. "Jesus christ, careful Penny you're gonna suffocate me if you're not careful."

"Well, I'm too excited! Cause, I looked and Santa came!" She squealed as she pulled away with a huge smile, making Eleanor smile back. "He did? You must've been a good girl this year then."

"Yeah, I have been a good girl. Now come on, get up so we can open our presents!" Penny tugged the girl out of her bed and all the way downstairs wear the Christmas tree was stood, presents surrounding it. Her parents were also sat by it on the couch drinking a coffee. "Merry Christmas mom, merry Christmas dad." Eleanor smiled as she sat by the two of them.

"Oh, merry Christmas my little princesses." Stan looked between the two of his daughters as they sat down between their parents and the presents. "Sorry I'm a little bit late." A sudden voice announced and everyone turned to see Maria. "Maria? You're working on Christmas?" Eleanor questioned as Chloe let out a frustrated sigh.

"Maria! There you are! There is no excuse for being late!" Chloe screeched as Maria's face scrunched up in panic. It was quite sad how Maria was often scared by her boss, yet they paid her good money so she still worked for them. Plus she loved Penny and Eleanor as if they were her own.

"I-I'm terribly s-sorry." Maria apologised yet again and Chloe rolled her eyes. "You should be! Go stand in the corner and face the wall while we open our presents and have fun."

"Uh...okay." She hesitated as she slowly wondered over to the corner of the room and faced the wall. "Mommy, I don't want Maria to face the wall, why can't she open presents with us?" Penny looked up at Chloe, who let out a cackle at her child's question. "Oh Penny, you're funny sometimes. Come on, let's open presents."

Chloe ushered her children closer to the presents and Penny looked back towards her older sister. "Why can't Maria sit with us?" She whispered and Eleanor shrugged before whispering back. "Probably because our mom is mean, just you go first at opening presents."

"Okay." She shrugged before reaching into the pile of presents. "Ooh, this one is from Grandma." She smiled before opening the gift and gasping. "A hatchimal! Oh my god, I really hope I get the pink or purple one!" She squealed excitedly before Stan turned to Eleanor.

"Eleanor, sweetheart, it's your turn." He gestured to the presents and Eleanor grinned as she looked towards the boxes and picked one up. "Oh, this one is from you guys." She said looking towards her parents before slowly ripping opening the present.

"No you didn't!"

"Yes we did!" Chloe responded as Eleanor's jaw dropped and she carefully lifted up her present. "You got me the blue persian salt ballet flats and the matching the blue persian salt ballet pointe shoes?!" "Well, we do but what you children ask for, as we just want to make you happy." Stan says cheerily and Eleanor lets out a slight squeal of excitement.

"But they both cost at least $3,700! They're like, the most expensive ballet shoes ever!" Eleanor stared at the shoes placed neatly in the box as her mom smiled smugly. "Well, we can afford the best, so we get the best." "Oh my gosh, thank you so much!" Eleanor placed the shoes back in the box and immediately ran over to her parents to hug them tightly.

"Oh, that's okay dear." Stan grinned as her daughter hugged him. "Now, darling I have a present for you." Stan's smile widened as he handed his wife an envelope and Chloe's smile widened as she snatched the envelope out of his hand. "Ooh, what is it?" She questioned as she ripped it open and read the letter inside and gasped. "Oh Stan!"

"What is it mommy?" Penny questioned as Chloe looked at her husband with utter joy. "We're going to be spending the next 3 weeks in the Maldives!"

"We're going on vacation?!" Penny squealed excitedly as Chloe shook her head. "No, we are." Chloe gestured to herself and her husband as she read the rest of the note. "Oh! And our private jet leaves in two hours!"

"What?! Who's gonna look after us?!" Eleanor asked frustratingly as Chloe pointed at Maria. "Why do you think we hired her? I'm gonna go pack my bags, Stan you come with me and pack yours!" Chloe grabbed onto her husbands hand and dragged him up the stairs at lightning speed as Eleanor sighed. "But what about us?" Penny called out, getting no response.

"It's okay Penny. We can still have a great Christmas. Oh, Maria you can come out of the corner now." Eleanor called out and Maria let out a sigh of relief as she waltzed over to the two children. "You two can finish opening your presents and I'm gonna whip up a special gift for you two in the kitchen." Maria smiled and Penny gasped. "What is it?!" "You'll see."

Maria made her way over to the kitchen as Eleanor began to speak. "Okay, you can open a present next." "I don't really feel like opening a present." Penny's posture slumped slightly and Eleanor attempted to think of something to make her little sister feel better. "What about...seeing what Santa bought you? You've been waiting like all December to find out."

"Okay, fine." Penny looked around for a present labelled 'from Santa' in the huge pile of present's underneath the tree until she found it. She immediately teared open the packing, only to find a note. "Santa left me a note? What'd he do, do my homework for me?"

"Why don't you read it and find out." Eleanor nudged her little sister lightly and she smiled. "Okay, okay." Penny slowly opened the folded up piece of paper and read it and she let out an excited scream. "OH MY GOD!"

"Is everyone okay?!" Maria yelled as she came sprinting back into the room, an apron on top of her clothes and a spatula in her hands. "SANTA GOT ME A PONY!" Penny yelled as she got up and showed Maria and Eleanor the note as she quite literally jumped up and down in joy. "Oh my goodness!" Eleanor gasped as she looked towards Maria. "You lucky little girl! You must've been very good for Santa to get you your very own horse!"

"I was! I was a very good girl! I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT A PONY! I'M GONNA NAME IT LUCKY OR CHIP OR COOKIE OR CHARM!" Penny squealed excitedly as Maria wandered back into the kitchen.

"So, you got the tickets to see the nutcracker but gave them away because of some girl whose mom died?" Cooper asked in confusion and Oliver nodded. "Yeah, I did because I said I would so I could practice asking someone out but she thought I was a Christmas angel and I gave the two tickets to her for her and her sister to go."

"Aw, that's kinda sweet." Eleanor smiled and Oliver rolled his eyes. "Shut up." He spat out and Eleanor frowned. "Well, I was gonna ask you if you wanted to use one of the spare tickets I have to go see the nutcracker but if you're gonna be rude-"

"N-n-no I want the ticket! Give me the ticket!" Oliver turned to the girl who smirked playfully. "Beg me." Oliver immediately scowled as he looked at the girl. "I-" He began before he let out a sigh. "Please let me come to see the nutcracker with you."

"Okay, the tickets are for tomorrow. Cooper, you wanna come too? My sister says she doesn't want to anymore." Eleanor asked the boy who grinned. "Sure." "Cool, sounds good."

"Uh, why'd you make me beg, but not him." Oliver gestured to Cooper and Eleanor chuckled lightly. "Cause, I like Cooper. What is this like news to you or something?"
