"I'll ask him" and before i can even think twice she gets up and calls the bartender over

Shit he's coming this way. I try to turn away so we don't make eye contact again but before I can we already locked eyes.

"How may I help you ladies?" He asks leaning so he can hear us better.

"Are you free next friday?" Kate asks, putting her hands together like she's hoping he doesn't say no.

"Ya kinda actually, I only work two days next week. Why?"

"Good, my friend needs a date for her sister's wedding and she wants to know if you would like to go with her?" Kate says looking over at me. I'm too nervous to say anything so all I do is slightly smile and wave.

"Oh yea?" he says, turning to look at me. "What's in it for me"

"I don't really have anything to give you." I say shrugging.

"How bout if i be your date for your sister's wedding you pretend to be my girlfriend for my family reunion, if i show up with a girl like you they will finally hop off my dick about settling down." "it's a win win"

"Deal" i don't think much about it because i know if i do i'll overthink it and chickening out.

"Okay bet, i'll give you my number and you can text me when and where to meet you for the wedding and we can go from there." he says, grabbing his mini notebook from his back packet to write his number down.

He hands me the piece of paper, I fold it and put it in my back pocket. At first I was nervous about the idea of him being my date and me having to pretend to be his girlfriend but not gonna lie. I wouldn't mind pretending to be in love with him.

"You see that guy over there , white kinda cocky looking, around that group of girls?" he asks, pointing at some guy.

"Yes, why?"

"He's my brother, his name is drew he's the one we need to convince the most"
