Veneer heard who was on the phone and started panicking and waving his hands.

After an hour or so, Veneer could hear someone knock at the door and Velvet yelled, "CAN YOU GET THAT???" He walked down the stairs to open the door to see Kid Ritz. He tried to close the door immediately, but Ritz's hand stopped the door. "Hey, I'm just trying to see how you're doing." "I'm busy right now. Bye." He closes the door and Kid Ritz knocks on it again. Veneer opens it again.
Veneer sighed and muttered, "Come inside." Kid Ritz walked inside and he looked a little concerned. "Veneer, the other day you ran away. Are you okay? Did you get sick? I know you weren't having something coming up."
Veneer stared at him and then went upstairs. Velvet rolled her eyes. "He'll be fine. Did you eat yet?" She turned over to Kid Ritz. "Is... he alright?" She shrugged. "He's just weird. Not the first time. He was worse in middle school. He had an... emo... phase..."
