Veneer went downstairs after that seemingly short night. "You look rough. What happened to you?" said Velvet. "Didn't sleep. Don't ask."
Velvet laughed and continued trying to make the eggs. "I think you were awake on your phone talking to Riiiiiiiitz!" Veneer rolled his eyes. "Aaaand? You barely let me have any friends let alone a boyfriend! You sent the last one to the hospital for kissing a girl. Be lucky he didn't want to press charges."
After a few minutes of back and forth banter, the food was done and she put it on plates for the both of them.
He started eating then a few minutes later literally passed out on the table, face planting. She gawks at him and then stabs his hand with a fork to wake him up which leads in him immediately rising and screaming. He stares at her. "VELVET!! OWWW!!!" She giggles and continues eating.
