Ritz knocked on the door of Velvet and Veneer's house. Almost immediately, Veneer opened it. "What are you doing here?" "I came to check on you two. You guys both left crying yesterday. What happened?"
Veneer shook his head. "It won't matter, anyways. We fight all the time. You should've seen us when we first got to jail..." he said. Ritz laughed a little bit. "Well, I mean, I'm glad to see you're doing at least a little better. ...I think."
"I think I need to apologize to her later. She is still pretty upset at the whole thing..." said Veneer. He realized Ritz was still outside and grabbed his hand to bring him inside.
"Where are we going?" asked Ritz. Veneer said, "Do you want to sit on the couch?" Ritz shrugged and they sat down.
Veneer turned on a movie and they sat like that for a bit
