Momo asked blankly after the teacher hand the two their project paper.
She said, "You two should be able to handle this one - Momo, please try not to give Haneul all the work."
All the students headed to the lab room, each wear their lab coats, gloves and goggles, stood with their partner and ready to do it.
"What is this?" Momo gasp, looking at the project paper with widen eyes.
"It's a paper, Unnie," Haneul said calmly, walk towards the store room at the side, while the older one is following the girl like a puppy.
"Oh hey, Unnies." Chaeyoung said, look towards the girls they just came into the room.
"Chaeng," Mina calls, asking the younger one to focus on getting their materials right.
"What's your project, Minari?" Momo ask, give back Haneul the paper.
"Ours is studying the pH change by common-ion in case of weak acids and weak base." The girl answers.
"It's complicated but also not complicated," The youngest said, she lean towards Haneul to look at her paper, "Unnie, what's yours - oh no, quantitative estimation?"
"Good luck ~ haha," Nayeon and Jeongyeon said as they walked into the room.
Momo side eyed the two oldest one, said, "Well you two are not the best either, you two don't even work well together in class, and this is science -"
"I bet those two will be yelling at each other in frustration later." Haneul sigh softly.
"You don't understand," Chaeyoung looking towards Nayeon and Jeongyeon, which they are trying to ignore Momo and find their materials, she said jokingly and teasingly, "That's call love hate relationship -"
"Chaeyoung, can you try to focus? I know chatting is fun but we still need to do the work," Mina smiles softly.
"Yes Unnie."
After Momo and Haneul got their stuff, the two headed back to their table.
"Let's start, Momo Unnie." She said.
"Alright," the older said, looking very confident in helping to get the equipments they need out on the table.
"Just do what I say."
"Okay,"
About 20 minutes later, as Haneul expected, the older one have no more passion in doing it.
"So then now we have to find the strength of the given solution of Sodium hydroxide by titrating it against standard solution of Oxalic acid - Momo, are you listening?"
She yawned unintentionally, "I am, but I just don't understand."
"Is okay, I'll - try to teach you."
After the two's hard work for the next hour, finally, before the period ends, they are able to finished it.
The two girls looked at the tables around them, Sana and Dahyun's group seems to have finished as well, chitchat with Jihyo and Tzuyu by their side.
"What are you guys talking about?" Momo ask, wrapped her arms around Sana and Dahyun's shoulders.
"Volleyball of course," Jihyo smiles, "We're telling Tzuyu our accomplishments last year."
"We literally went straight to the finals!" Sana said loudly in excitement, cause the whole class to look towards their side.
The girl send some apology looks and sat back down.
"What Sana meant is we didn't lost one match and successfully won the competition." Chaeyoung said from behind, took a chair for herself and Mina then sat down around in a circle with the others.
"But remember, we played for a G2 volleyball last year."
"G2?" Tzuyu ask.
"Yeah, it actually means Group 2, in all the sport's competitions between schools, there are a few levels for us to join, like G3, G2, and G1." Dahyun answers.
Jihyo said, "And obviously, G1 is the hardest one to beat."
"We actually also wanted to play G1 last year, but our captain disagreed." Momo said, looking towards her side, which she already went over to help Nayeon and Jeongyeon, who are trying their on not to make the lab catch on fire.
"Hani said we need more experience, and I guessed that we don't know each other's playing styles that much." Mina said.
"But we can this year, right?" Sana ask.
"Yeah definitely," Dahyun said, pretending to be confident at it, "Those teams will be too easy for us."
"Don't be so confident," Haneul came to their side, she said in more of a recommend way instead of being like a real captain, "I've done some research during the holidays, and this year the teams that are joining G1 are much stronger."
The girls all started to staring at each other in worriedness, wondering if they really could play G1.
"But don't worry, we can handle it."
A proud smile appears on the girls face.
"But we have to work harder if you want our winning percentage be as high as it could be."
"Ah okay," Momo said softly, feeling a bit sad at having more practice but happy that the captain believe that they can do it.
"We are good, as long as we got the best captain we ever could find and also the brightest outside hitter," Sana said, hugged the younger one at her side, "We can do it."
"Then what if I'm not here," Haneul grins, "Then you'll be the opposite hitter."
Sana pouts cutely at the younger girl.
"Let's go, the class just ended." Jihyo said, as all of them started to get up, and head towards their next class.
"Feeling excited? Or nervous?" Nayeon ask Tzuyu.
"Why do I have to?"
"You have the tryouts to the team tomorrow, you remember?"
"Don't worry, Chewy," Chaeyoung said, "We will cheer for you."
"And good luck tomorrow," Jeongyeon added.
When they all head towards the cafeteria, it seems that many of the students are gathered around with one specific table.
"Do you see what are they doing?" Nayeon ask, when the girls shakes their head in reply.
"Oh I think it's the football team," Chaeyoung said with a smile, "I heard that they just all got the information of BTS are having a football friendly match against NCT in a month."
"You mean the NCT by the NCT?" Momo ask in confusion.
"Yeah, I guessed, I have no idea what you mean." Jeongyeon said.
Jihyo said, "They are a strong team at Hangyeol High School."
Dahyun said towards Tzuyu, "They have been playing against BTS for the last few years, and all the matches ended up to be a tie."
"I guessed that that's the reason why everyone is excited," Nayeon said.
"I hope BTS will win," Sana said.
The girls around smiles widely at her, Jeongyeon said teasingly, "Yes of course you do, you like the handsome captain boy -"
Sana quickly smash Jeongyeon in her arm in embarrassment, "Jeongyeon!"
"What - I'm telling the truth!" She replied, still chuckling at the younger one.
"Jeongyeon Unnie is the kind of person to just sudden started to tease you," Jihyo said, "We just have to accept it."
"Yeah, and we will all suddenly became the victim." Mina added.
"Oh ~ Minatozaki Sana is having a crush on the most handsomest and cute looking boy at school -!"
