"Bro, you did take a bath."
"Of course I did, Dahyunie," Taehyung smiled as he rolled his eyes, turn towards the oldest sibling and pointed towards the bag, "Jin Hyung, you want a biscuit?"
"Na, no thanks," raise his arm holding his instrument case, "Got to play the oboe later."
"Oh yeah, sorry." the middle one smiles cheekily.
Jin said towards his two younger siblings, "I heard that our concertmaster changed to another school a few days ago."
"Really?" Dahyun gasped, "Then the orchestra needs to find a new one then."
At that time, the two brothers both send some meaning full glance to the youngest.
"What?"
"I think there is a great possibility that it's going to my little sis," Taehyung said, he look towards Jin, who is nodding in agreement.
"No no no," Dahyun quickly denies, "Please don't."
"Believe me, I think it will be you," Jin said, "Mr. Cho always love having you in his class. And you have the skills, kid."
"But I don't want to," Dahyun pout cutely, "I still wants to play volleyball."
"You can't play if you became the concertmaster?" Taehyung ask in confusion.
"It's kinda actually because of Haneul," Dahyun explains, "She knows I am planning to be a musician, so if she knows I became the concertmaster, she will want me to follow, and will probably tell me to quit volleyball to chase - my dreams."
"But can't you just do both?" Taehyung ask again.
"Tae, you don't know?" Jin said, "It will be bad for her to play violin with hands that play volleyball, since it's a sport that uses hand and if they got hurt - she can't play violin."
Taehyung mouth formed an O shape as he nod.
"But everything is not confirmed yet," Dahyun smiles, "I may not be the concertmaster after all! And all of my worries will be extra."
As the 3 Kims siblings head into the orchestra room, there are the players seated at their seats already, and when Mr. Cho head into the room after they sat down, he smiled brightly.
"Hello everyone! As you all know, our former concertmaster have left the school a few days ago to study in a music school oversea, so we have a new concertmaster!"
All the students clapped and cheer hearing that there's a new leader.
"I admire and being thankful that this student is still remaining to be in Daejung, and I believe that she can help to lead this orchestra to a better success!"
"And it is - Kim Dahyun!"
"EH?"
Dahyun and Chaeyoung walk into the gym from the changing room.
"You alright?" Chaeyoung said worriedly, it is rare for her cheerful buddy to be quiet.
"Yeah, I'm good." The older one said blankly.
Then Chaeyoung gasped softly, "Don't tell me you haven't told Haneul about the concertmaster thing yet."
"Em -"
"- So you didn't, huh Unnie-ah." Chaeyoung sigh over at the girl, "She will eventually knows anyways, you have no point in hiding it from her."
"I know Hani will ask me to follow my dreams, she knows being a violinist is always mine." Dahyun said, ignoring Chaeyoung's statement, "I know her well enough to know if I told her, she will encourage her to focus more on music instead of volleyball, I love both music and volleyball, but they couldn't happen at the same time where both of them I want to play it professionally."
"Haneul will support you no matter what, we all will," Chaeyoung encouraged, "Even if that means to have to temporary leave the team or forever, eh - I'm not done talking. And I am sure Haneul will understand your situation as well, you just have to tell her."
Dahyun got confused by the younger one's sudden matureness, she joked, "But how I am suppose to tell her? Oh, captain, I just became the concertmaster in the orchestra and I have to quit my favourite sport's team, TWICE so I wouldn't hurt my hand for violin?"
The two girls went quiet for a few seconds, before Chaeyoung said under her breath, "That's actually a pretty good one."
Dahyun side eyed the cub at her side, who held out her tongue playfully, she smack her on her arm.
"Ouch, Unnie!" She pretends to sob loudly, catching the girl's attention from the bench in the gym.
"Dahyun Unnie hit me!" Chaeyoung complained.
"Haha," Jeongyeon said sarcastically.
"Okay, okay, let's focus," Haneul smiles softly towards the girls before she begin, "I got some news to share."
From hearing that, they all place their full attention towards the girl in the middle.
"So I've decided a while ago, we will be playing G1 volleyball this year!"
A huge wave of excitement rippled throughout the gym, followed by an explosion of cheers.
If it wasn't for Haneul to be with the girls for so long, the others should be surprise of how much noises 9 girls are able to produce in that one single moment.
"Really? You made your decision?" Jeongyeon said in pure happiness.
Haneul nod her head with a cute smile, "I believe that you all won't be disagreeing with this so I applied already, and we got through!"
Another wave of cheers went through Hanuel's eardrums again, and this time is even more destructive.
"Don't be too excited yet," The captain said, "We don't know what team are we facing, so we all have to be prepared for any kind of opponent."
The girls all nod passionately. "Don't worry cap, we can handle it together." Jihyo said, with a motherly smile looking at her teammates.
A few days later, on the weekend, Haneul head over to the headquarters herself to sign the papers.
She reads the instructions as she continues to fill out the informations.
She mumbles to herself as she fills the form up, the grownups at the side seems to be interested at seeing a very young age girl to come and sign in, not like other teams who has their coach.
After about half an hour of writing and the mini-interview, she's finally done.
"Here is it," she said politely, bow to the manager before walking out of the room.
Looks like TWICE is going to G1.
Haneul got pass by at the hallway, seeing a few other girls, similar in her age, staring down towards her side as she passed by.
"Oh, that must be the captain of Twice," One of the girl laughed, pointing at her.
"What is her name again? - Jeon Haneul -?" The girl at her side followed, "What a stupid and strange name, just like her."
Haneul didn't turn back to look at them, she just paused, smiled, then face them.
The few girls walked confidently towards her, stood only a few feet's away.
"Don't have an idea how you could even be the captain," the tallest one mocked, stood in the middle, "What gives you the confidence to sign up for G1?"
