"Sam!!" I scream.

"Yes, princess," Sam says, rushing over to me.

We hug, and in the moment, he lifts me up.

"Sam, put me down!!" I shout.

"No," he says, gripping my waist tightly.

"Please," I beg.

"Not a chance," he laughs.

"Leave her alone, Sammy."

I recognize that sweet voice.

"Raven!!" I scream.

I try to get out of Sam's grip, but it’s tough, so I kick him in the stomach, and he lets me go. I run over to Raven and hug her tight.

"Sheesh, don’t kill me," she says.

I laugh.

Raven and I have gotten really close and shared everything with each other.

"Oh my God, this party looks amazing," Raven says, admiring the scene.

"Oh, you should thank Seth and Mark," I reply.

"Um... Maybe when I actually meet them," Raven says.

"Oh yeah, you can do that now," I say, reaching for her hand, but she doesn’t move. I turn to face her.

"Um... Maybe not now," she says, her eyes glued to Sam, who is approaching us.

"Oh hey, sampea," I say, but he doesn’t respond, instead walking right up to Raven.

"Hey," he says, looking straight at her.

"Hi," she mumbles, blushing fiercely and staring at the floor.

"How’ve you been lately?" he asks, his green eyes sparkling.

"Oh, I’ve been good... Seems you’re getting taller," she says, tiptoeing to touch his hair.

I can’t help but admire his bright blonde hair and striking green eyes. He looks breathtaking in his tuxedo.

𝐶𝑟𝑎𝑝! 𝐺𝑜 𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑦, 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑝𝑖𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑠...

Suddenly, his intense gaze turns to me, piercing my soul.

"This is stupid," I mutter.

I step outside for some fresh air.

"Dammit, why did I have to stare?" I complain, feeling defeated.

I notice Seth and quickly hide behind the door as he starts unbuttoning his shirt.

"You know you’re really terrible at hiding," Seth says, continuing to undress.

𝑆ℎ𝑖𝑡! 𝐻𝑜𝑤 𝑑𝑜𝑒𝑠 ℎ𝑒 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤?

I stay hidden, eyes shut, praying he won’t come around, but he does.

I gaze at his sculpted abs.

𝐺𝑜𝑑, ℎ𝑒’s 𝑟𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑑. 𝑂ℎ 𝑛𝑜, 𝐼 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛.

"Oh... Um, hey. When did you get here?" I stammer, then lose my balance and fall into his chest.

𝐶𝑟𝑎𝑝! 𝑊ℎ𝑦 𝑎𝑚 𝐼 𝑠𝑜 𝑑𝑢𝑚𝑏?

"I’m sorry. I’ll go," I say, starting to leave.

He stops me.

"No, you can stay," he says, his hazel eyes boring into me.
