"maine kaha na, ja tu..duty kar apni..yeh sab toh jeevan mein aata jata rehta hai bete..", Baba explained Anubhav, who had to go back for his duty the very next day. He was planning to request for a postpone, but Baba had stopped him.

Baba- aur Haseena beti haina mere sath..tu meri chinta chhod..acche se training le, desh ki seva kar..aur phir yaad aaye toh field se desk duty pe aa jana...par mere liye tu desh ko daav par nahi laga sakta beta..

AS- uchit hai baba..phir hum jayenge..aur inn 7 saalon mein sarhad par uss tirange ko uncha hi rakhenge..(smiled confidently)

Baba- yeh hui na mere sher bete wali baat..!(proudly caressing his hair)

Maa- ab aap dono ka ho gaya ho toh fauji sahab, jaakar samaan bandhiye apna..7 din nahi 7 saal ki liye jaana hai aapko..(emotionally)

AS- hamari pyari maa..(hugging her from behind)..ek.fauji ke liye toh uske parivar ka sath hi kafi hota hai..packing ka kya hai, do uniform, kuch IDs aur dher sara jigra chahiye bas..

Maa- chup kar..yeh badi badi baatein apne juniors ke saamne kariyo..maa hu teri..sari zarooratein jaanti hoon..isiliye back pack kar chuki hoon tera..(rested her palm on his cheek)..mere bete ka khayal rakhna..(sobbing)

AS- Maa..(hugged her tightly..caressing her hair as she was still sobbing)

Baba- Arre Anu ki matashree..aap aise royengi toh yeh sahab jayenge hi nahi..aur Karishma ko kaun sambhalega bataiye?

Maa hummed and wiped her tears. She gave a long forehead kiss on Anubhav's head..who smiled feeling the motherly love.

Karishma entered the hall and saw emotional eyes of the trio..

KS- bhaiya..aapse ek promise chahiye..

AS- boliye behna..

KS- aap, iss waqt jaise hain..fit, fine, 6 ft. ke gore-chitte officer..humein theek waise hi chahiye 7 saal baad..(forwarding her hand)..promise kariye..(teary eyes)

He smiled emotionally..and kept his palm on hers, assuring the sister within her that he will be okay.

AS- tum bhi hamari behna ka khayal rakhna..(kissed her forehead)

Karishma couldn't hold her tears and hugged her brother tightly. Anubhav rubbed her back lovingly. She broke the hug after crying for a good 10 minutes.

"Humse mile bina hi chale jaoge Anu?", they heard the emotional voice and turned towards the door..finding Ammi, Abbu and Haseena.

AS- hum aame hi wale the wahan, Abbu..(going towards them)

Abbu- dhyan rakhna apna..aur desh ka bhi..samjha..(Anubhav nodded with a smile and hugged him)

Ammi- yeh lo..(tying a thread on his arm)..dargah ka dhaga hai..kabhi isse utaarna mat..

Anubhav smiled at her love and nodded..hugging her. Finally..his eyes went to Haseena..whose eyes were ready to shed a pool of tears. But she was controlling herself probably.

HM- a-apna dhyan rakhiyega..(she said in broken voice)

AS- ji..

HM- aur humein apka ilaaj karne ka mauka mat dijiyega..sahi salamat aise hi one-piece mein aaiyega..samjhe?

He chuckled and nodded..and to his surprise, she hugged him, tight. His hands slowly wrapped her in his embrace..and his heart felt immense peace. He could win the world now.

Haseena broke the hug..and found a patch of her tears on his T-Shirt.

HM- Sorry vo..(pointing towards the T-Shirt)

He smiled looking at the patch..and gestured her to see her shoulder..she confusingly looked at it..and it had a tear patch too..she smiled a bit.

AS/HM- Apna khyal rakhiyega..

They smiled..and soon, the Malik family left. Anubhav went to his duty the very next day, early in the morning.

"Jai Hind Sir!"

"Jai Hind, Officer! Enjoyed your family time?", his SO asked in a friendly way.

He smiled cordially and nodded.

SO- toh lag jao training par, the country needs you!

AS- I'm always ready for it Sir!(confidently)

The SO smiled and Anubhav proceeded to the training camp. Here, Haseena had examined her last patient and was heading towards the Singhs for daily checkup of Baba. Karishma opened the door and smkled seeing Haseena..she entered..

HM- toh, aaj ki kya report hai, Maa?

Maa- beta teri daant ka toh sahi asar hua hai inpar..no oily food aur puri diet follow bhi ki hai..(smilingly)

HM- arre wah!(Baba smiled proudly)..chaliye issi baat pe(removing a packet from her handbag)..yeh laddoo khaiye..

Baba's eyes shined..he took the packet from Haseena and opened it..

Baba- pura mera hai?(puppy eyes)

Haseena chuckled and nodded..

Maa- par itna ghee..

HM- maa..chinta mat kariye..(assuringly)

Baba took a bite of laddoo and closed his eyes...as if he was in heaven.

HM- kaisa hai?

Baba- thoda alag hai, par accha hai!(happily)

HM- good..yeh laddoo humne khud banaya hai..sare healthy nuts se..thoda hi ghee use kiya hai..(smiled)..ab agar agle hafte bhi aapne diet follow ki toh firse kuch accha milega aapko baba..okay?

He nodded smilingly, having another bite of laddoo..

KS- baba aap ek dum bacche hain..(smiled)

Baba- baccha hone mein hi maza hai beta!

HM- baat toh sahi hai..accha chaliye..aapke daily tests kar lete hain..phir hum bhi ghar jaate hain..

Maa- beta, tere Ammi-Abbu kisi rishtedar ke nikah mein gaye hain..toh tu yahi kha le..

HM- par maa-

Maa- bas, keh diya maine..(ordered)

HM- accha theek hai..hum bas ghar se fresh hokar aate hain..(smiled at her love)
