As Zelaina and her posse cut through the goblins with ease, the man with the rapier joined them in eliminating the goblins.

Once the last goblin fell, Zevlor ushered everyone past the gate to safety. Zelaina looked the goblins over to make sure they were dead, as well as for good loot.

Making sure everyone and her posse had run into the safety of the sanctuary, Zelaina flew up to the top of the gate.

There lay the dead Tiefling who bravely tried to save the people below. "KANON! S-SOMEONE GET SOME BLOODY HELP!", a Tiefling woman who looked like Kanon shouted as she looked around.

"I-I'm sorry Arka... he's gone...", another Tiefling who ran over with her said. Arka screamed out in agony as she held her brother's body.

Zelaina didn't know why, but she felt that she could help somehow. Approaching Arka, she kneels down gently, "If you'd allow it... I may be of some help".

Looking up with a snap of her head, Arka's tear filled eyes bore through her soul. "D-Do whatever might help!", she begged with desperation.

Nodding, Zelaina takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. She murmurs a prayer to Selûne, an aura of golden white light surrounds Zelaina. Opening her eyes, her eyes and hands glowed with the same light.

"Oh great moon maiden, breathe life into the one I touch—a man taken in an act of bravery", she prayed before gently placing her hands on the Tiefling's body.

The light enveloped him, he began to levitate off the ground. The arrows piercing his heart were slowly pushed out, clattering to the ground.

His wounds closed, making him as good as he had been moments before the arrows pierced his chest. Once his wounds completely healed, he was set down.

The glow that enveloped him faded, as did Zelaina's. Opening her eyes, she lets out a shaken breath, the revival ritual had taken a lot from her. After what seemed like hours of waiting, Kanon coughed and opened his eyes.

Arka comforted him as she laid his head in her lap, cradling him. "Kanon! Oh thank the gods—no, thank Selûne for this blessing!", his sister cried out in joy.

"Wh-What? Arka? What happened? Urgh, my chest is sore", he groans as he assimilates himself. His sister shushes him and explains what had happened.

Even he was shocked he had been brought back from death itself, turning to Zelaina with awe. He became even more in awe upon seeing the Aasimar's wings.

He attempted to sit up, "G-Gods! Pardon my rudeness! I-I had no idea a divine being as yourself had troubled herself over me", he stutters nervously. Zelaina smiles and stands, putting a hand up as a signal for him to relax.

"There's no need to fret Kanon, it was the right thing to do. You were brave to try and save the human's despite being under attack", she commended.

Bowing his head, he relaxes a little, "I... I just didn't want them to die... but you have mine and my family's thanks", he admits while giving her his thanks.

Arka nods in agreement, "Indeed, lady..?" "Zelaina, just Zelaina", she says as she presents herself. Smiling, Arka gives her a warm welcome.

"Thank you, Zelaina. You brought my little brother back from oblivion. If there is ever a way to repay you, do not hesitate to ask", she tells the Aasimar as she stands to try and meet her eye to eye.

Although she didn't want to ask these people for more, Zelaina smiled back and nodded while taking Arka's hand and shaking it as she says her thanks.

Standing, she approaches the small overlook into the sanctuary to see her crew watching as Zevlor argued with the human leader of the group that was outside.
