I didn't see it coming because I had been too busy, too distracted thinking how to escape, too fast. I had ignored the clues, the threats.

I felt a stabbing pain in my chest that made me gasp for air, a cold sweat on my forehead, a numbness in my limbs. I felt a panic in my heart and I was confused after being shocked by what had happened to me on the curve part of the national highway.

I tried to speak, to move my hands and reach the sky while my blood was scattered on the floor.

"This is your demise, snatcher!" shouted the police officer who chased me, running 100 kph. I just accepted my fate until the darkness swallowed my sight.
