———————————————————————— Dahlia's eyes fluttered open at the smell of bacon and slowly got out of her bed and walked downstairs to the kitchen.
Upon entering the kitchen she saw her mother rushing to make food while glancing at the clock.
"Mom? Are you ok?" Dahlia asked as Elizabeth practically jumped for joy at the sight of her daughter.
"Oh honey! Your up! I wanted to make breakfast before I left for work but I woke up late!" Elizabeth said as she rushed between the pancakes and bacon.
"Mom! Here, you grab a pop-tart and go to work. I'll finish making breakfast." Dahlia said as Elizebeth turned to her daughter with a smile.
"Really?" Elizebeth asked as Dahlia smiled
"Yes. Go to work. I got this." Dahlia said as Elizabeth hugged her daughter
