Chapter 5

It's your storyteller here. I know, there were a lot of mistakes in the previous chapter I was really tired and felt half dead.

Nanami tried getting up of whatever corpse was on him. Hearing heavy footsteps Y/N clashed into it pushing it off. Helping Nanami to get up you saw what it was. It's some tall skinny blue person that looked like a alien from the seas. Well that's weird.

Once again the sea monster blasted some kinf of wind out it's mouth towards her. She blocked it with her arms. " Nanami I need some help here". Nanami got focus and started to attack. Seems like Y/N will be the distraction. Nanami tried slicing his limbs but it keeps growing back. "Fuck"!

It's been 10 minutes and nothing improved. Nanami was stabbed with wind force by his abdomen. Y/N can sense the sea monster's every move but it's too fast. If she tries blocking the hits against Nanami she's too late. Right now Nanami is gaining some breath. Y/N had enough of this shit.
" What? Too tired fatty"? Nanami was shocked to hear the monster could talk yet insult Y/N. Which of course made him mad.

" So you can talk fish man". She said with a smirk. " You see I've never seen a fish man use wind for a curse energy instead of water or are you just hiding the secret weapon". The monster walked nearer and indeed showers some water in his hand.
" Clever girl, so what water is the strongest force on earth". You chuckled.
" ah yes, it's is but bit for me".

You see Y/N can sense every. Force is one of her favorite. If she uses force against force it automatically get stronger because it's water. What she needs to use is either temperature or movement. Movement is ganna take a lot of work and energy including Nanami fighting. But temperatures work well. Wind is oxygen but water has both hydrogen and oxygen so to evaporate the water there won't be enough oxygen for strong wind.
Y/N wiped her forehead. " No wonder this place is freezing cold".

Nanami stood up. Nanami was still confused but he still got the idea. " Y/N"! He shouted at her when the sea beats in speed attacked her. Nanami blocked it with his sword.
" Nanami keep distracting him. When I say NOW jump out three window".

" what". Nanami was concerned.

"just do what I say"!

She started place some heated lava around the corners of the room. Squishy made fire outside the area to make it hot. Sensing any heat conducters was the ground it is brick, cement and steel bars thats between it. Manipulating the temperature the ground got really hot. Nanami started to sweat and lose energy due to the heat.

The sea monster noticed the temperature but enable to focus Nanami is on his ass. So Nanami is fighting till he hears NOW to jump out. Y/N ask Squishy to increase the heat. When she felt her own feet burning through her shoes. " NANAMI NOWWW!"
He heard and immediately jumped threw the glass windows. " What"!?

" it's over Fishman". Increasing her force energy. Her hands had this blue energy and gave 3 consecutive punches. The third one was an uppercut and the monsters head was off.

When everything was cooled down. Poor you were exhausted and fainted because you yourself couldn't handle the heat. Squishy was an ice block trying to cool you off. Nanami thought why is she taking so long. He ran again to the 3rd floor seeing you once again on the ground. He sighed.
" What a show off". He called Shoko.

After what happened. You woke up in some kind of room. It wasn't yours. Grunting in pain while getting up. Shoko chuckled. "you such a stubborn girl".

" huh.. What"?

" no matter what happens you just don't die". Nanami came in the room looking angry. " Y/N you were supposed to be dead. The heat you created was above 50°C even Nanami had to take a ice bath".

" sorry but that was my only plan".

You stood up on your feet. Still rubbing your temples Nanami could kill you right now but why?
" Masamichi want to meet us". Nanami pointed out the door. You nodded as he left you gave a nervous smile to Shoko and she just smiled at you. Heading to this kind of office room. Masamichi was already sitting there. You stood next to Nanami. " I want to know all what happened".
You and Nanami spoke at the same time but stopped. He glared at you in annoyance.
" Nanami first start your story". As the principal of the school mention. Nanami explained his part if his story which is true but he ended up clues by your part.
" Yes, that's where I asked Nanami to help me in my plan". Once explaining what happened Masamichi was impressed.
" How did you get that right"? He asked. You sighed at explained everything how you ans Squishy made it worked.

" I see. That is a smart move. I'll inform the others". Which as so Shoko still need to explain to everyone how you didn't die. Well you didn't die because your white cells protected you and Squishy is not dead with its help by providing water for you in ice form.

" why do you keep interrupting me. It's seems like you wanna be a pro in this". Nanami is cocky and it's disturbing you.
" No Mr. Nanami, I spoke first because I did most of the work". He felt ashamed because it's the truth. " I help you with distraction"! He raised his voice giving you a death stare through his green glasses. You stepped nearer to him staring deep in his soul.
" Face it, you are a nuisance to me. If you weren't there I would use my full energy and kill that bastard with a blink of an eye". You replied coldy. Making Nanami stare turn into agony. As you stepped away.
" But you're just doing your job, doing what you were instructed. And I just follow rules". You walked away with a very uncomfortable feeling that Nanami still hates you. " What a pain in the ass".

As night approaches. After dinner you couldn't stop thinking about Nanami.
" I really don't want to be rude. That's not me. I can still see Nanami has a bit of humanity. I just need to change his mind".
Maybe if Y/N was kinder he won't be such an ass. I mean Kindness always win.

Nanami POV:

He was already in bed at home. Reading his book. While reading he was thinking of Y/N. Which I don't know how.

I see that Y/N is still hiding her full strength.
She should've died. Yet she still stand strong. If so she could be a special grade what If she's just cursed. Or she is the curse.
This is too much. Not to mention she quite fast and strong for her size. She moves like she is light on her feet, which definitely she isn't she is the heavy ones.

Without Nanami realizing he was thinking too much of you. Not just your weird curse energy but also how impressive you are. With that weight. Not REALIZING he had a small smile on his face before laying his head on the pillow.
