Chapter 34

"Do want to go somewhere.. I wanna forget everything for a while and just.. enjoy you.." Sana muttered. She gazed Chaeyoung for a moment and tried to fake smile but she failed completely since her eyes got teary once more.

The suggestion of her going somewhere to try and distract herself caught Chaeyoung by surprise, and she couldn't help but feel slightly intrigued by it. She wanted her to feel better and taking her anywhere was a good option for that.

"Let's go out for a picnic on the Han River then. You can forget everything for a moment and we can spend time together," she replied softly as her eyes met hers once again and smiled back at her.

Sana couldn't help and only nod at Chaeyoung's suggestion. They both changed and left the apartment in a hurry. They took the bus and sat next to each other, Sana had rested her head on Chaeyoung's shoulder and looked outside the window since it was sunny and beautiful outside.

The bus ride to the river was a nice and relaxing one as the weather was beautiful and sunny, it was exactly what they needed to calm themselves down after all that stressful situation they just had. Sana's head rested on her shoulder and the two of them sat next to each other, enjoying the warmth and the comfort of the person next to them. 

When they arrived at the Han River, they took their time going down to the grassy area where they could have their picnic. The place was a lot emptier than usual and it was nice and relaxing.

"Shall we make ramen later?" Sana suggested once she noticed a convenience store on the distance and pointed at it so Chaeyoung could see it.

She had been thinking about what they could eat and make later on and the suggested of ramen sounded very tempting not gonna lie. The sight of the convenience store from where they could get everything they needed for it was just perfect to get to work and she smiled at the idea.

"Ramen sounds perfect," she replied softly as she took her hand and started walking towards it without wasting any time. She was hoping that by doing this they could calm themselves down and move on from whatever happened with her dad earlier.

As they entered the store and wandered around for a while they took what they wanted and made the noddles there. When they were ready they paid and left with a box that had the two bowls of ramen and a fried chicken that Sana wanted.

"Let's sit over there!" Sana said and pointed at the place she wanted to sit as Chaeyoung was holding the box with their food, carefully making her way there as well.

They left the store and made their way towards the spot that she had indicated where they could eat their food. Once they got there she sat down in one spot while Sana sat next to her, their bowls of ramen and fried chicken sitting in front of them.

"I think this is a great place to eat," she replied softly as she opened the box, taking a look at the delicious food inside and her mouth started to water with just the thought of eating it now.

"Let's take some pictures first.." Sana said and took out of her back a blanket because it was quiet cold outside and she wanted cover herself. She scooted closer to Chaeyoung so she could feel her warmth too till Chaeyoung got her camera out.

Chaeyoung chuckled as Sana took the blanket out and got closer to her. She could feel how much she was trying to cover herself from the cold by moving next to her and she enjoyed the fact that she could have her close and that she was using her as the only warmth source. She didn't seem to mind that at all and was definitely enjoying it.

Without a word she took out her camera and leaned towards Sana so she could take some pictures of her. The sun was hitting her face just right and she looked beautiful in that moment.
