Chapter 30

"Yeah.. I bet.." Sana mouthed and rolled her eyes. Logan was now closer to her instead of Chaeyoung and got on her lap wanting some attention from Sana as well. She started petting him gently while he laid down on her lap with eye closed.

Chaeyoung couldn't help but laugh softly at the situation. She looked at Logan as he decided to lay down on Sana's lap instead of hers and she felt kind of sad for some reason.

"Looks like he chose you over me," she said with a soft smile on her face and giggled a bit as she tried to pat Logan's head but he was ignoring her, now giving all his attention to Sana.

"Mmm indeed." Sana said with a chuckle and continued petting the dogs soft fur. Logan was so relaxed on Sana's lap which made her melt instantly, she couldn't get enough of that cute dog.

Chaeyoung felt jealous for some reason as she noticed how Logan was more comfortable with Sana compared to her as she couldn't do anything to get his attention back. She felt frustrated as she kept trying to pet him but he was simply ignoring her which made her feel even more frustrated than she felt before.

"Logan, come on. I thought we were best friends," she called him softly as she kept moving her hand back and forth next to his ear, but it seems like he had chosen Sana over her.

"I can't believe you're jealous of a dog.." Sana sighed in disbelief and shook her head before laughing softly at Chaeyoung's reaction. Once Sana stopped petting him, Logan looked up at her with his puppy eyes that made him look adorable. He wanted to be petted more.

"I am jealous of anyone who gets more of your attention than me, that includes dogs and even cats... I don't even remember when was it last time you petted me like you petting Logan right now..." she said softly with jealousy in her voice.

She wanted to be Logan in that moment as she saw how he was having the time of his life with Sana and he was absolutely adorable in everything he did because he was very well behaved and gentle with her.

"Chaeyoung!! Shut up they'll hear us.. Are you out of your mind?! What are you saying?!" Sana claimed. She was in total shock with Chaeyoung's sudden statement, she felt her head spinning.

Chaeyoung was so focused in expressing her jealousy that she failed to actually notice that they were in public. Her face went brighter red as she suddenly stopped talking and looked away. She couldn't even say anything else after that but her face was still red.

She tried to pretend it didn't happen by playing with Nereri but she also took a quick glance at Sana and the face she was making in that exact moment.

While the two were sitting in silence enjoying the warmth of their bodies being close, it began to crumble. Nereri and Logan immediately started running around like it was their first time seeing the rain.

Sana in the other side stood up from the bench but she left her wrist being grabbed but Chaeyoung who was stopping her from going away. "Hmm?" she hummed and looked confused at Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung didn't want her to leave her alone so she was holding on to her hand and didn't let go of it. She was still red and her heart beat fast from the jealousy and what she had accidentally said, but she tried to control herself.

"Can't you stay with me a little while longer? I'm... I'm not ready to go yet..." she said softly as she put a cute pout on her face, waiting for Sanas response.

"But.. it's raining." Sana stuttered. As she was about to take her hand away, Chaeyoung dragged her and placed her on her lap. Sana was shocked and looked around to see if anyone was watching.

Chaeyoung was just too tired to even try to care about being in public at this point, so she simply put her arms around Sana's waist and placed her over her lap. It all happened so quick that Sana could barely make a reaction to it.
