As the year progresses the free time everyone has get lower. Especially when they have to do work studies. Basically everyone knows who they are going with. Everyone except Bakugou that is. He asked Jeanist, but it turns out his mother had told him about him and the girls over the summer and Jeanist refused to have a teenage father under him. Endeavor said no as well. Jeanist knew he was the go to second option and shut those gates quickly.

Almost every hero he reaches out to shoot him down for one reason or another, but he knows why. It's because the gossip train had reached them. It probably also ran off the rails somewhere given some of the reactions to his asking.

"Ok this is getting ridiculous." He says after being turned down by hero that isn't even ranked yet.

"You could come work at my agency."

Everyone looks to the door of the classroom to see Monoma standing there. It's break time for the students so it isn't strange for some to leave classrooms, but for Monoma to pop at their door offering help, that's unheard of.

"You want me working with you?" Bakugou asks.

"Don't get ahead of yourself. I just happened to hear that the old bags that we rely on to protect us aren't too accepting of you. Actually heard that from the hero I work under. She said that some hero told her that if the UA student that whores around and knocks up unsuspecting girls comes knocking to not answer. Sniffed out right away that that was obviously not what was happening and told me to offer you a spot. You can accept it or not. I did as I was told so now it's out of my hands."

"You know what, fine. It's not like I have much of a choice anyways. You can tell her I accept." Bakugou says.

"Alright, I'll tell her." Monoma texts her and then looks at the playpen in the classroom that is currently holding the girls. Nixie is standing up, using the gate as support, and looking right at Monoma. "Why do I feel threatened?"

"You should. If she manages to get over to you, she bites." Mina says.

    "And it hurts." Midoriya adds.

"So not only does she look like you, but she acts like you?" Monoma asks.

"And she is constantly pulling away from me." Bakugou says. "She prefers Aizawa and Kaminari over me."

"That sucks. I heard there were two. Where's the other?"

Vera is sleeping in her rocker. Bakugou motioned for Monoma to come forward so he can see her. Nixie, seeing the stranger approach, moves a little closer to her father. Monoma gets close enough that he can see her.

"Oh. I'm assuming she looks like her mom with the black hair." He says.

"Yeah. Unlike Nixie though, she prefers me. She's going to definitely not like it when I'm starting work studies. She already didn't like the two times I was chosen for team patrols since coming back to school."

"I'm sure Ms. Raptor will understand." He gets a notification and looks at his phone. "Speak of the devil. She wants you to come in with me tomorrow. Said you don't have to bring your hero suit. You're just heading in to talk." Monoma says.

-

He has passed this building several times whe he was a kid. Never once would he have thought it was a hero hero base. Inside it's obvious with how things are set up. Outside it looks worn down and about ready to collapse.

Monoma leads him through the building and up the stairs. They end up in front of a large door which Monoma knocks on before presenting his hero name. They are granted access so Monoma leads him inside.

A woman with huge brown and speckled wings, and large yellow eyes, looks over at them from where she is sitting at her desk. She smiles and offers Bakugou a seat before telling Monoma to go patrol district three with another hero. She waits for the door to close before turning to Bakugou.

"So you're the kid that the heroes are muttering about? I'm Ms. Raptor. I asked Phantom Thief about the rumors and he said he knows who they were talking about and that the rumors are wrong. Told me you had too much pride to go about acting like that, and told me what he's actually heard. The heros and your school mate are telling me wildly different things, but I'm willing to be Phantom Thief is telling me the truth. Especially seeing you now. I can tell you're a stand up student. So, my question is, how did the heroes get such a rumor." She says.

"The rumors among the heroes were started by my mother. She didn't like that I got my girlfriend pregnant and chose to stand by her side with the decision to keep them. I guess that when she heard that we managed to successfully keep them full term, and then some, she snapped and tried to ruin my chance at a hero career." Bakugou explains.

"A scandal like this certainly will make it hard to be a hero. Right now it hasn't reached reporters. I will work to shut them down silently for you. I can't have one of my men being attacked like this. Until the rumors are contained you will do smaller jobs to not attract too much attention to yourself. Afterwards though, you can move up to the usual patrols that Phantom Thief gets to do. Sound good?"

"Yes ma'am." Bakugou says with a nod.

"And since you do have kids I will make a fitting schedule for you like I do for all parents who work under me. I want you to tell me how your days usually go with your kids." She says.

Bakugou starts to explain his routine to her, and she listens closely. Afterwards she sits silently for a bit, thinking. Eventually she writes something up.

"I don't want to take you from them too much in the mornings. So I'll only do that once every week. Same day so it's like routine to them after so long. Then twice a week you can come during your afternoon classes. You already disappear to them at fhat time so they won't even know. Every few weekends I'll have you come on a Sunday. Sound alright to you?" He looks at the rough schedule she wrote up and points to the day she chose for mornings.

"Can you make it Tuesday instead of Wednesday?" He asks. "The school decided that every doctors appointment they make for their checkups will be Wednesdays at lunch and I don't want to risk missing those."

"Makes sense. Alright, how does that look?" She asks.

"Good. I can work with this."

"Oh, and one other thing. You will have to get your driving license. I require everyone to have one in case there is a big emergency we need to rush to. It's quicker than running for most."

"That actually works out. I was recently gifted a car and needed to get one anyways. The thing is though, I haven't found the time to practice my driving."

"Then that can be one of the small things we do with you while I work to stop the rumors. If you want you can start practicing today. I'll call up someone I trust to teach you in one of the company vehicles." She says.

    "That'll be great, thanks."

She took out her phone and sent a text to the guy to get up here. All Bakugou has to do now is wait. They were done with the official type talk now. Now all she wants is to know about his little girls. He's more than happy to talk about them.
