9. THE DILEMMA

VIHAAN'S POV

What did I say to her? No I should have stopped myself but what did I do? I told her everything. I said the reason why I left her. I revealed my feelings to her.

I removed my hands from her and the silence between us found a place but suddenly the words left the role to speak.

The tear from her eye rolled down from her right eye but I don't have any courage to wipe it. Vihaan, were you so eager to let her know. This is not how I ever thought the situation would occur.

"Anaya, " I said,taking a step ahead but she slid down only to sit on the floor.

I bent and kneel down ,and noticed her sitting in shock. She hasn't spoken a single word for the past five minutes.

"Anaya" I said but this time she turned her head to look at me, the eyes holding various doubts and confusions.

"Hm " She answered but didn't say anything else.

"Anaya, try to understand I didn't mean that " I justified by keeping my perception to make her understand.

"Are you hearing me? " I questioned looking at her while her eyes were on the other side.

"Anaya" Before I could keep my hand on her shoulder to make attentive of my presence she faced me and wiped her tears.

"Vihaan Raichand, " She said, wiped off her tears with her hand and took a breath.

"Ha Say Anaya"

"I don't love you. I won't ever love you. You know why? I don't need that person in my life who ran away because he doesn't believe in himself whether he would be able to stay in long distance or not. "

"Anaya, I had that fear. I know it's so stupid of me to do it but... " Before I could say a word, she cut my words.

"But what? Vihaan, do you have any idea what I went through? You left me alone to suffer. Also, no matter whether it is a friendship or a relationship - Transparency, communication and faith are three major components to make things work out. You didn't follow any one of them though I mentioned these things once. Still, you chose the option of running away instead of talking about it" The frustration, anger, betrayal were evident in her words and actions clearly.

"Anaya, listen to me "

"I don't want to. I am going back to the hostel now" She informed and raised without giving me a chance to speak.

I saw opening the door but I stopped her "Anaya please " . I held her by right shoulder.

"Haq gawa chuke ho tum. Isse acha ham door rahe toh sahi hai" She removed my hand and she left without turning back.

I wasn't able to stop her. I didn't even try once but I wanted to. I could hear her words "Haq gawa chuke ho tum. " The mistake which I made but I never knew I will pay for it in this way. My actions were wrong but my intentions weren't.

I didn't move, I stood in the same place. I felt a knife stabbed on me. The heart wanted her to stop but my mind stopped me saying it what if she starts hating me.

"Vihaan"I heard someone calling me. I came back to reality from my thoughts and it's Neil entering the room.

" What happened to her? She came back and made them to go back to hostel "

"Kab? " I asked but he was confused looking at me.

"Before 10 minutes. Wait Are you fine? Is everything alright?Because you both were alright then what happened all of a sudden She said she is not well. " He started questioning but I didn't answer.
