They tell me to look in the mirror and tell them what I see
So I do just that, but it hurts their fragile reality
I see a person, scarred and broken
A person bent to fit a mould they just escaped
I see a person, so used and hurt
A person trained to hide their pain
I see a person who knows what love is
But is scared of feeling it
For they know the pain true love can bring
But give in to it, for its best
I see a person shunned by the world
A person full of truth
I see a person who can bring nations to their knees
But don't believe they can do
I see a person not as everyone else sees them
Strange, odd, and pleading
But I see a person in their truest form
A beautiful, mysterious being
For people are like the stars in the sky
They could be suffering inside
But we'll never know, really
For were to far away to see anything clearly
