The class bell rang, and students flocked the halls. Dazai pushed his way through the crowd with noting but resent on his face. The random shoulders knocking onto his. The lingering feeling of stranger's distaste as they continue like he wasn't there. That was until a certain fellow student brushed his back as he wanted to get ahead.

The student's whole body had crashed into dazai as h barged dazai out of the way with a proud scowl on his face. Dazai had finally felt an emotion through the dingy halls. Though, you would assume it would be hate towards the student, wouldn't you? Well, you're wrong. He felt... sparky. Not happy, not excited. Sparky. Maybe snarky was the word he was looking for?

"I didn't know the annoying orange went to this school." He teased with a smirk as he watched the students' shoulders tense. "Good to see you too, Chuuya." Dazai continued as Chuuya just scoffed. He kept walking to their shared period.

They walked close by tension filled silence filling their tongues with the snarky things they want to quip at each other. See, what I should probably tell you; these two are rivals. Not in the mafia and police way you may think (no clue why you would think that). I mean, in an academic sense. Both are incredibly smart and ever since they fell apart in primary, they have been at each other's throats.

Rumours speculate that dazai left Chuuya because he hated Chuuya, others say he loved him. Who knows? Back to the main point at hand! They had both gotten to the class. The day prior was their final test. A test to see who was superior once and for all. To see who got the last laugh... you could imagine their faces when they both wound up getting the same 100.

They were silent for a second before... they made out. Jkjkj

Chuuya grit his teeth and glared holes into dazais smiling face. "What are you so happy about ha?!" he burst. Months of studying to find out he had yet again tied with dazai. Even after he had made sure dazai was distracted enough... Chuuya had tried to get dazais fangirls (lets be honest, if he was in high school women would flock to him) to ask him out on dates. Chuuya thought, as the womaniser he is, he would take all offers and leave his studies.

Clearly wrong, dazai lent back in his chair. "So sad, chibi. Couldn't get any of those women to distract me, hmm?" he asks in a teasing tone. Dazai would describe this feeling as the closest he has felt to anticipation in years. God... he loved watching Chuuya pause as he had to take in dazais words. He loved watching the way his face grew red as he realised a plan had failed.

He loved watching his orange hair match his personality. Firey and cute. He loved looking into his blue eyes as he tried his best to beat dazai at every little thing. He loved his hands, his smile, his scowl. Dazai... loved him? This made dazai double back and glance over Chuuya's face. His face full of worry. Lord, he messed up.

He spaced out and wen he plummeted back to earth he saw a slightly annoyed slightly concerned Chuuya. He was leant up in his face and clicking his fingers in a snappy way. "What the hell are you staring at, bandages?" he heard in the snarky honey voice he adored oh so much. Dazai too a second to speak, not having time to come up with a narky excuse. "Ah... youre eyes are beautiful." He blurs out. It takes him a second before he realised what he admitted.

It took Chuuya a second, too. He initially rolled his eyes but then he played attention to the words. "...what?" he squeaked up. He was holding back a blush, and this gave dazai the confidence he though he threw down the drain. "Ahh, and your hair too. My goodness chibi. You're like a Greek god." He winked as he realised, he could win against Chuuya in something if Chuuya never caught on.

That doesn't stop his words having a deep meaning though. Chuuya was quick to catch on, though. He clearly was embarrassed, but he wasn't going to lose. "Oh yeah? Well, your whole face is beautiful. Much like you were blessed by Aphrodite." He used his knowledge of Greek mythology and smiled as though he had already won.

Dazai just chuckled and looked down on Chuuya with his dark eyes. The eyes he could so get lost on if he wasn't so snarky. Or so dazai. "My, then you must have been entirely sculpted by her, chibi." He said as he walked out with a smile.

Chuuya stood alone in the class as a blush snuck up on him. His whole face was red, but he still tailed after dazai yelling words of affirmation at him, trying to regain the upper hand...
