To be a teenager

To be a teenager in a world like this is nothing

new.

Just because I have never done drugs, doesn't

mean I'm not cool.

I barely get into it with people around me.

But, just because I'm not a fighter doesn't

make me weak.

Mom always told me to think before I speak.

To be a teenager in a world like this is what I

never thought I'd be like.

Me focusing hard in class, and making good

grades is not as easy as riding a bike.

Some, who've seen me, may think I'm quiet.

But, that doesn't mean I don't speak up for

what's right.
