Carter pops up on the camera glowing. He is beautiful. I have t saw one person who wasn't attractive to me.
Carter smiled and it made me genuinely happy. "Carter, finally."
"Yes, it is so nice to be able to sit down and talk with you." He said in his British accent.
"Your accent," I touched my heart.
He laughed showing off his beautiful teeth. "Thank you."
"So, you were homeless when you met Damien?"
"I was. I had just moved to America, so I didn't have anything or knew anyone. The company I worked for referred me to this intern opportunity here, so I took it."
"Damien was like your knight in shining armor when he found out and eventually let you live in?"
He smiled. "Yes, I can't argue with that."
"Would you say it was easy falling for him?"
He took a sip from his mug. "Extremely easy, despite everything, he was a good boyfriend. He catered to me in every way a person could. He is a giver and a pleaser."
"He cried often about Chace?"
"When we first started dating but then it stopped."
"Your opinion on Ace?"
He chuckled. "I don't care for him but he is attractive."
"Can I just say that all of you are...like the whole group." We both laughed.
"Thank you. Maybe that's why there was so much recycling."
I covered my mouth. "Carter,"
He shrugged.
"You let Damien call to console Chace one day."
He stopped smiling. "I was too nice and that was my mistake in the end."
"Too nice or too trusting?" I stopped typing, waiting for his response.
"Both honestly, but he was really good to me for the most part. I don't wanna come across as bitter...he's still the best guy I ever dated."
"Why was he?"
"Because it wasn't all about sex and he listens and cares." He sighed. "He's the only ex who knows about me being sexually assaulted."
