Chapter 22

Stony

"I like hospital food." Zhi was eating my pancakes."

"You always been greedy." Chace laughed.

I was sitting up holding Jaylen. "Can't believe all y'all stayed overnight."

"Ain't shit, you good people." Chace smiled.

"We just had to make sure you was good...sorry bout what happened man. You suppose to be the heavyweight champ."Spence said.

I haven't watched tv or went on any of my social media platforms. I don't wanna hear what people have to say or see people congratulating my opponent when that win was mine. I wanted to kill my dad and if he had any sense he'd go into hiding. He wanted war and now I'm ready for whatever, he had crossed the point of no return. Jaylen kept me sane, just feeling his hands in mine calmed me down. He whispered positive affirmations in my ear all night after sex, he held me. He said I had a better chance walking on water than him leaving me.

"Now that you know for a fact you were drugged, are you going to send the police after him?" Spence asked.

"Like my baby was saying, it will be hard to prove it was actually him." I shrugged. "I kinda just wanna beat his ass."

"I definitely had to whoop my dad a couple times," Dame chimed in. "Not exactly something I'm proud of but he was putting his hands on my mama."

"Shit that's understandable...I would do the same."

"Most I ever did was throw my stepdad shit out of the house, after he showed his ass In Tennessee that one winter break."

"Samson fuck ass," Chace said.

"Look at us bonding over daddy issues." I said jokingly

" Not me...my daddy love me," Jaylen said.

"Mines do too. Sorry Y'all." Spence looked around at us and we laughed.

"Mine just left so..yeah I got daddy issues too." He smiled and Damien hugged him. "I can tell you now you make daddy very proud." He pulled his mouth to him and kissed him.

"When y'all heading back home?" I asked.

"Tomorrow morning," Spence answered.

"Tryna throw something on the grill later?" I looked around at everyone.

"Food and drinks...I'm down." Khi pushed the plate to the side, wiping his mouth with a napkin.

"Not my Apple juice...that hospital apple juice hit different. "Khi sucked his teeth and tossed me my juice.

"Yeah, we down too." Chace looked at Damien, who nodded.

"You just done stole my classmates." Jaylen pressed his head against my chest.

"Shit, these nights aaight....I honestly never really had friends."

"Awww," they all said.

"Shut the fuck up." I laughed. "It's a good feeling."

"Where doc at? If yo ass was able to have Jaylen in here screaming, you able to go home." Spence joked.

Everyone laughed and Jaylen covers his face.

"Wow!" I hugged my baby tightly.

"Y'all did not hear me.."

"Who? Yes the fuck we did...the nurse said you requested to be undisturbed for thirty minutes." Khi stood up.

Jaylen

They put a cover over our heads as we quickly left the hospital. Cameras were flashing and paparazzi had no chill. There we trying to bomb rush is. They asked him a million questions, some were insults, some insinuating he was on drugs. Some people had conspiracy theories that he didn't do what the Illuminati wanted and was being punished.

"Stony who is this guy with you? Is he a family member?"

"Is he a friend?"

"Stony we've never saw you with a woman...are you gay? Is this your boyfriend?"

We just ignored them and we're quickly pushed into the car. He immediately reached for my hand and held on to it tightly. I knew he was overwhelmed, so I rubbed his forearm. Then rested my head on his shoulder. "I don't like hiding you,"

"That's not important right now."

"But just know I feel like I'm ready but..."

"Try saying it out loud sometimes."

"What you mean?"

"Have you ever actually said it out loud and heard yourself admit it?" I looked at him. "Say I am gay."

I could tell it never registered before. "No, I haven't."

"Try it, it worked for me. Sometimes it's hard to admit to others when we haven't fully accepted it ourselves. You don't treat me like a secret Stony...I'm not over here suffering. You love me out loud every moment you get. I don't give a damn if people outside of the ones we love never know. It's no pressure over here."

"That's exactly why I ain't keeping you a secret...yo fine as deserve to be showed off." He lowers his mouth to mine, but he just stays there with our lips barely touching. "I'm thinkin I want this forever,"

"Yeah?"

He gently bit my bottom lip and started slowly kissing me. "Yeah...as long as the wheels keep spinning, I'm never getting off this ride."

"I hope it never stops.." I put my hand on his chest.

"If it does I'll put you on my back and carry you, just to keep going a little more."

I pulled away to look at him. "Stony you say the sweetest things."

"One look at you and the shit just comes naturally..."

I covered my face and he lifted my chin, I was wiping my eyes. "Sorry,"

"Bout?"

I shook my head. "You always get me to be so mushy." I wasn't even sure where the tears came from.

"That's just love baby.." a tear rolled down his face too. "Look...I feel it too."

He just held me for the rest of the ride.

This was a short Chapter and I am sorry. The next one will be normal. My birthday was good. My gumbo came out delicious, there wasn't any leftovers 😂😂😂😂
