Some days you feel everything's fine
Life's a blessing from God divine
Suddenly out of the blue the mood declines
With poor metabolism and lack of adrenalineParking the problem unfixed everyday
You crash to sleep with hope for another day
Now nothing seems to work your way
Except body pain & strands of greyEmotionally unavailable you want to be
Yet, secretly looking for someone to support thee
Love is no more one night's stand or Snapchat spree
All that matters now is relationship stabilityYou wish life could rewind back to the twenty
When the drama was less, & scope for mistakes plenty
When 3am was the time you finally left the party
And 3 cans of beer came with digestion guaranteeThirty, stop banging at my door already
I don't even look this old yet buddy
Can you not wait until I look like an uncle or daddy?
Cos that's how I assumed you would be when I was naive & kiddy.
