The red neon lights grazed across the walls making pictures of history across the cave. I gawked around the room with satisfaction and interest, as my fangs slipped back in "Welcome to the Empire of The Half-Bloods and Full-Bloods. This is history from many years ago, a continuation for vampire species a place where they can bring themselves to understand who they really are", Tasha stared back at me with a stern expression that intimidated me as the glares stood. "Many years ago, in the roman ages. A human roamed the woods, getting stopped by wolfs, they had bitten him in all around his body including the unmentionable places". Tasha strode closer to me grazing her hands over the drawings of history "he went up to the gods and was given a chance to help gain other species, vampires. He had a chance to have a purpose in his life. Once he came back to himself, he lived and grew an empire of vampires...", she then turned her head at me "but a certain mistake happened to create half-bloods".

I felt sick hearing those words knowing that I am a vampire...a half-blood. Tasha made it sound like it was a bad thing, like the end of the world. I dropped my head, panicking on the inside, in shock. I felt like there was glue smothered on my feet, restraining me from moving. But I couldn't take being in the room anymore, I had to leave, I forced my body to move sluggishly running up the stairs we stepped down before. Speeding past the dorms not caring of the mostly pitch blackness, and heading to the room that had the bit of light beaming from the room.

I collapsed on the bed gathering all the pillows hugging one tightly to my stomach. My whole life was a lie, I never knew my parents...ever. Was this the reason why they didn't want me? Or was it because they tried to keep me safe. I didn't understand it at all my thoughts proceeded to fly past me one after the other. Water spilt down my face as I sobbed on the pillow my head lied on. I sniffed while breaths were ever so unsteady. My thoughts dulled into a tiredness that overtook my sadness...

Thomas's POV:

When Y/N left, I could still feel the sound of her heart beating at a rapid pace. I stood in one spot staring to the back of her body. Observing her Y/H/C hair, the waviness of her hair perfectly suited her type, as it followed her every move. I got distracted out of my gaze when my mother spoke up "are you okay honey?" while she lifted her hand to my face, I stared down at her and sighed. She grazed her hand over my neck checking to see any bite or mark that might have been left on my neck "did she bite you? That vicious beast...she doesn't even know how to control herself, to desperate". I dropped my head ignoring my mother's questions. This wasn't Y/N's fault, it seems that she doesn't even know anything about herself. I grieve with her, as I held her in my arms feeling her heart drop.

"Thomas are you alright?", my sister asked me "I'm fine okay! I don't need to be smothered with all these questions". I snapped without glancing back storming up to my room 'Y/N wasn't a vicious beast; she was confused, and I know how that feels like learning about the vampire ways. It's hard to comprehend especially not knowing half of your life that you're a vampire...well in her case a Half blood. I've never seen one in my life. She's beautiful, her blood smells delicious, I've never smelled anything so inciting.

I spent a few hours in my room doodling in my sketchbook, until my senses caught a whine from the halls. Recognising that I heard her...Y/N. She sounded scared, afraid of something. After I heard another whimper coming from her room, I couldn't take it hearing her fearful howls through the halls, it breaks me.

I stepped out into the darkness of the halls, rushing to Y/N's door. I didn't leave a second out opening the door. She wiggled in her bed shaking hugging a pillow tightly to her body, her breathing heavily and fast. Every now and then she would let out a cry, a yowl coming from her mouth.

I sped with speed to her side, holding her head stroking her forehead to calm her breathing. Y/N opened her eyes squinting to adjust to the darkness "Thomas..." I sat on her bed while she stared into my eyes with tears welling up in her ducts "shh, shh it's okay I'm here...I'm here". I caressed her cheek continuing to stroke her forehead to her hair back down to her chin. Her Y/E/C eyes caught my brown orbs, we stared at each other for a while, when she stopped my gaze catching my hand that brushed against her skin, bring it close to her face cuddling it intently.

She closed her eyes for a moment, then opening them back up to my face "what did you dream about?", her eyes filled with water once again, dripping from the side of her face "I-I remember...". I was perplexed looking into her eyes as tears continued to slip "remember what...?", I got my other hand while she held the other caressingly to her face "I remember my parents". Y/N spoke with a whisper "I remember, fire everywhere...blood curdling screams", her eyes stared up at me with fear "it's okay...it's exceptional you remember your past, vampires have strong memory balance. You're finally remembering who you are". Y/N smiled warmly, playing with my hands intertwining it with her own.

"Please don't go...". I nodded, as she made room for me in the bed, turning her body to her side, with me now facing her back. She snuggled closely to the blankets, breathing steadily this time. I could feel her heart beating steadily and calmly. I found myself eyeing the back of her body, after moments of being caught by her beautiful structure.   I swung my arms over her body, pulling her in to my front, while she turned facing me, with our face's inches apart. Y/N nuzzled into my neck while I pulled her body closer if it was possible. She wrapped one of her legs around my legs as I put mine in between her thighs.

I've never really truly had felt this famished for blood, her blood...do I love her?
