I awoke with a jolt and heavily breathing, but I calmed knowing I was in the arms of someone trustworthy, Thomas. Ever since I met him, I knew that he was a good person I don't know why but I had an inkling feeling.

Thomas stroked my hair soothingly, making my breaths steady "shh, shh, shh...it's okay I'm right here", for a moment I thought he left before I awoke. It scared me, the whole mansion did...

"Come on want to come hunting with me?", my hand retracted to my neck feeling an ache starting to form in my throat. He hummed knowingly, I smelled blood in his neck, in his veins. Nuzzling my nose in his crook of his neck, which I think he started to catch on "love, I know you're hungry. But you're not going to suck mine...come on let's go hunting". With that he took my hand in his, picking my petite body in his arms. Once the door of our bedroom 'oh my bedroom' I should say, he sped through the hallways and out in the courtyard heading into the other half of the forest.

I closed my eyes hiding in his jacket, the next thing I know he chuckled under his breath, letting me hear the vibrations where I nuzzled. "Love, you can look now...", He placed me down on my feet as I still held my hand in his, squeezing as much as I can from the sudden adrenaline rush that sprang through my body...

It was stunning. We were positioned on a side of a cliff looking out to a lake, that shimmered with the sun brightly. "It's beautiful...", as my words were lost with the scenery. "Yes...it is beautiful", during his words, I felt a warm breath creep down my neck, as he held my waist to his front. I turned to face Thomas, placing my arms around his neck as he stared down at my face with eyes shimmering with the lakes light. I felt ever so wholesome, just him and I holding each other with such grace and love. Thomas grabbed my hand racing deeper in the forest, it was so dense with greenery, with little drops of wetness blanketing the trees leaves.

"So, one question, why is your mother so worried about me? She loathes seeing me", Thomas scratched the back of his neck and sighed heavily. "It's complicated... and a long story", I interrupted him, taking his hand in mine, sitting on a rock beside us "I'm up for a long story". He gave me a glance and looked down at our hands that were linked in one another's palms. "Well, my mother is worried the fact that you're a Half-Blood". I was puzzled for a moment "what's so bad about half bloods?" Thomas answered "Let me tell a story...long ago, on a blood moon. About two. One human, and the other a Full-Blood. They loved each other deeply...too deeply" he smirked staring at Y/N "their mother and father forbid them from seeing each other because they knew what would happen. So, one night. They both set out for the woods...that night they mated, and when vampires mate...they...you know. Have the possibility to come with a child. No one knows what happened after that. But Half-Bloods are different they have an incontrollable birth control. They feed way more, my mother thinks it's a danger to our species and the only way to solve it, is to kill them", "there's got to be another way...", Thomas brought my hand up to his lips, kissing my forehand tenderly "I promise you If there is a way, I will do whatever it takes to have you. And I won't let her hurt you, I promise", his face was solemn gazing into my eyes, as if his brown orbs were lost in mine, with our faces growing closer by seconds. I sighed and looked away, "what's so bad about having incontrollable birth control", Y/N spoke with a blush "isn't that good, for the species?" he sighed and continued "the thing is...it's been a myth for a while now. And no one ever wanted to see if the myth was real...but when you become pregnant as a half-blood, they could come with more than one. Meaning the Half-Blood with the child would die or be very ill...they need to feed on way more blood, and they already feed more than Full-Bloods, if they don't, they're left for dead." I breathed through my nose deeply, closing my eyes and enjoying the silence, until a rustle came from the bushes on the left. I whipped my head to the direction of noise, Thomas came up behind me, placing his hands both on my mid arms "get ready to catch, okay?", I nodded as I was in hunger for blood. I heaved deeply getting even more excited to stick my teeth in the flesh of the juicy animal.

A deer leaped out from the bush, until Thomas caught it with the grip of his bare hands, as the bone of the deer cracked, with the rough touch of Thomas's palms. I gave into my hunger and pounced on the deer slitting my teeth in his flesh...

"Wow, that was great", Thomas said with a chuckle, while we both laid on the leaves of the forest as night grew cold, with only the bone left of the deer, and our bellies full. Thomas kept his smile while looking at me. I couldn't get the memory out of my head, of the warm liquid that trickled down my throat, making me hungrier than I was. "Yeah, it was...", I turned my head to face him as our eyes didn't leave each other for a moment, our bodies ever so close to each other like they were molded together. His face drew closer, until our noses were touching, teasing me with a smirk forming on his face as my breath hitched.

Thomas's lips reached down to mine, kissing lightly but still had so much love inside the kiss. He kept the kiss going, bringing his hand up to my face, stroking my cheek softly with his thumb. He flipped over kneeling in between my legs, my hands wrapped around his neck, bringing him closer to my body. I ringed my leg around his waist while he held on to my mid-thigh, under my legs. Everything was perfect for a moment until...

Thomas pulled back in an instant with heavy breaths and flushed face, with confusion and concern. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry", he muttered between breaths. He couldn't look in my eyes and he just looked away and got up "uh- I should- we should head back, it's getting late" he stuttered with his hand back on his neck rubbing with nervousness.

The whole walk back to the mansion, it was complete silence, we didn't speak to each other. And once we entered the door, we went separate ways when we went up the stairs. I felt tears pricking the sides of my eyes. Why would I cry about this? What did I do wrong? Was it the kiss? Unanswered questions that urged to be answered.
