rest | capitano x female!reader

Y/n was a hard worker. You could ask her to do something and she would already be on it.

She was very reliable. Always reliable. Is reliable.

Capitano hated that about her.

Because it meant that she was a pushover. She did anything and everything she was told to do. Jobs, commissions, paper work, reports.

To him, she was overworked.

She was always tired. Had dark circles underneath her eyes. And always seemed to be on the verge of collapse before pushing herself up and continuing onward.

She seemed so fragile in those moments. A part of him always wanted to reach out and hold her. Tell her that it was alright to rest.

And thats exactly what he did one night. Granted, to everyone else it looked like he was kidnapping her, but he wasn't-

Ok, maybe he was stealing her away to sleep for a bit. But it wasn't kidnapping. Couldn't be!

"Capitano! Put me down!"

After a lot of struggling, kicking, and whining, he managed to get back to their shared home. His boots immediately getting kicked off on the mat, so he wouldn't track snow in. Then he wrestled her shoes off as well despite she being hoisted over his shoulder still.

"Capiiitaaaanooooo!"

He ignored her and head to their shared bedroom, and before she could utter anything else, he plopped her down onto the bed as carefully as he could.

"Rest."

"But-"

"Rest."

She glared at him, but it was hard to intimidate a harbinger of Capitano's caliber.

"I really need to finish my reports today."

She tried to snoud angry and make her pleas sound urgent.

"You mean the reports your colleagues forced upon you?"

"Well, i-"

"Judt as I thought. Your colleagues will be taking care of their own work. You, on the other hand, have a day off."

He grabbed the blanket that was laying on the bed and threw it over her.

"You will stay."

"But-"

"Stay."

Grumbling to herself, she fell back into the pillows. Her eyes watching as he left their room and switched off the lights.

If Capitano was one thing, then it definitely wouldn't be his expressive words of love and comfort.

However ... he did know how to show that he cared.
