(Based on the ending of Johnathan HIckmen's fantasy four run)
It could be overwhelming sometimes. Being able to wander and watch but never able to help. My dark golden eyes scan over universes, no mutiverses, billions of worlds. Too many people to count, all with a very similar story to them. Worlds where the idea of corporal punishment wasn't looked down upon or constantly labeled as abuse. Places where naughty children, teens, and even some adults can get the punishment they seem to need. I had seen many of them in my time as a poor watcher of punishments.
And I never seemed to get tired of it.
A small flash caught my attention in this dark but bright void of mine. I was surrounded by space, thousands of stars of all colors. One of them caught my eye in a moment. I held my hand out summoning one of those small orbs to my palms. You would think holding a universe would be a lot on me. However, it was like holding a small gem, a diamond filled with life. I tapped on this gem once a small picture spilled out from it. A small smile ran across my face.
"I always wondered if there was a place where you finally got in trouble for keeping your secrets up, little Valeria Richards..."
I let my mind leave me as I arrived in a small bedroom. Just in time to see the ending of a tale, where the fantastic four had saved the world from the Mad Celestials. However, in this world Valeria Richards was not gonna get out of her lies or secrets with a slap on the wrist. Rather a swat on the butt.
Earth 616 branching timeline.
Susan Storm was a lot of things. She was a woman that people often underestimated when it came to her powers, she was the loving wife of the smartest man on the planet. She was a loving friend of the thing, and she was more than grateful that her brother, Johnny Storm, was alive and had not died like they all thought he did. However, her greatest achievement was that she was the mother of two children. Her son Franklin Richards, a boy with more power than even her husband could predict. A boy that could seemingly control and rewrite reality like it was nothing more than a piece of paper. Her youngest daughter, Valeria, was only a young girl of 6 years old. However, she was considered by many to be the third smartest person on the planet. Maybe even the smartest.
It was that brain of Valeria that had saved them in many ways. However, it was also something that drove Susan insane sometimes. Her daughter was too smart for her own good, and in that time she would move on her own, make plans, make deals, make trouble, and then think that her parents were too dumb to not notice. During their war with the mad celestials who almost destroyed everything Susan loved. The day was saved, the heroes had won, and now that Franklin from the future and Valeria from the future were gone. It had been time to have a very long conversation with their daughter.
A conversation that had not been going well so far. No matter how the collective stern glare from herself, her husband Reed, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grim, the thing, stared down at her daughter. All four of them giving her a firm warning to not go behind their backs, to not keep secrets from them, to not put herself in danger thinking she was the only one that could fix things. There was not a true apology from the girl, a lot of small eye rolling, and simple shrugging of shoulders. "Okay, I won't do it again."
Susan's own mother always seemed to know when she was lying, and that ability seemed to pass on to Susan herself. As every small eye roll, every small huff and sigh, every small yes sir, and yes ma'am filled with a small bit of fibbery. It drove Susan insane.
"Okay enough!" Everyone looked a bit surprised at Susan's small outburst. However, she did care as she lowered her chin onto her folded hands. Fixing her daughter with a stare that even got the small genius to finally squirm a tiny bit in worry. "Valeria, look at me."
