The Plot

Harmony's POV

We just got in her office with her lips on mine when we both saw Issah on her chair.
"Baby I.....oh so this is what has been happening huh?"she said.
"I can explain "Kelly said.
"Explain what Kelly? I have seen everything there is nothing you can tell me, and you?"she said and left.
"Don't worry about her,I'll sort out everything okay"she said.

Kelly left the office about two hours after everything that had happened.
I sat in my office waiting for her return.it was now eight pm and I was still waiting.
Everyone left the office when my phone rang.I didn't even take time to take the call because I was eager to hear from Kelly and my heart was racing.

My mind stopped working.
I was sweating and panicking.
First Issah caught us and now Kelly was in an accident?
Was it some kind of bad luck or something?

I arrived at the Thorpe's mansion.She was laying in her bed with bandages on her head,her hands.
I felt so bad seeing her in such a horrible condition.
"You must be Harmony"the old lady who seemed to be in her forties said.
"Yes"I said shaking her hand
"I'm Mrs Thorpe,her mother"
"Nice to meet you Mrs Thorpe"
"Nice to meet you too though we have met on a very bad and unplanned day,well Kelly said that she wants you to be taking care of her until she's well"she added
"Well Mrs Thorpe,I'm not qualified to be a nurse do I have no idea on how to address wounds and whatsoever"I said in defense.
"Don't worry about that sweetheart I hired a nurse for her she will be of help,let me show you to the guest room you will be staying with us for a few days until she's completely recovered "she said.
"I need to inform my mom and of course I'll need clothes"I said.
"You can give me your mother's contact I'll talk to her and for your clothes don't worry about it it's all covered"
"Thank you Mrs Thorpe "
"Call me Clair"
"Alright thank you ".

A few days passed by and Kelly was getting better.
Our relationship also improved.
I was now in the kitchen making breakfast for her when Issah came in.
"Listen to me you low class girl,stay away from Kelly and from this house, I don't ever want to see you near her or any other person related to her"
"Or else?"I challenged her.
"I'm gonna kill you with my own hands "she said and left the kitchen.

I finished preparing the food and saw myself to Kelly's room but before I could get there I heard people talking and something in me told me to peep inside and hear what they were talking about.

"I hate that girl I think she's just after my Kelly's property moreover I want you to marry Kelly no matter what happens"Kelly's mom said.
"I think it's high time we do something,what if I we kill her? Then Kelly and I can be together again and happy like we used to be"Issah said.
"Right I believe you will do a great job "

And that's how I left to see Kelly.
"You look disturbed what's up"Kelly asked.
"It's your mom"
"What about her?"
"I heard her and Issah making plans of killing me so that you can marry Issah"
"What nonsense Harmony?don't forget that's my mom you are talking about,I know my mom and I believe she would never do such a thing to anyone "
"Trust me Kelly"
"You know what Harmony,I don't know want to hear anything against my mom and if that's what you have to be doing then you can leave"she said and walked away.
I messed up and I didn't even know how I could convince her.I didn't have any evidence against the two women.
