Yinghua, Guiyuan amd Ailan we're hugging me and Maomao to give
us their warmth
"So cold!"- Guiyuan
"The pocket warmers certainly help, but..."- Ailan
"Not having to do anything in this cold is quite an ordeal!" I whined as me and Maomao had our hands above this
warm thingy where it creates heat and had coal or rocks on top. (IDFK WHAT THEY ARE MK???)
"The wind is so cold."- Yinghua
As the wind started to cool down we went behind the curtains and watched the ladies dance
"Look, that's the Empress Dowager."- Guiyan
"She seems very youthful."- Maomao
"She is young. She gave birth to the emperor when she was..." She then went to our ears
and put her voice is just above a whisper
"15."- Guiyuan (Ok so she doesn't actually say how old but guessing from Maomao's expression it must've been pretty young.)
'Damn! 15!?'
My jaw was practically on the floor right now from shock
"The Empress Dowager has two children, the emperor and his younger brother. The rumor is that his brother is too sick to leave his house. I think he was here until a few months ago, though..." Guiyuan explained as we kept our eyes on the event
"I see." Maomao and I said in unison

"HUH!? Who are you all calling basic?! We ladies in waiting serve our mistresses!Whats the point in dressing up?!"
Yinghua yelled at the ladies that were talking crap about Lady Gyokuyou's Ladies in waiting
"Pfft. Did you hear that? Having ugly servants hurts the mistresses obviously." The ladies giggle
Yinghua looked pissed like she wanted to punch them in the face multiple times
'Hey... Aren't those Lady Lihua's ladies in waiting?'
I glare at them in disgust
"Oh, Yinghua. And so, the proxy war begins. Lets go." Guiyuan looked at us as she started heading towards Ailan and Yinghua with us behind her
"I guess you can't help it, seeing such an ugly you hired but you only have one pretty girl. She should be with us, I wonder what kind of words you used to persuade her into going in with you ugly freaks."
'Are they really calling my best friends ugly and leaving me out calling me pretty and I should join a bunch of actual freaks like them?! No way, and plus Maomao and the others are prettier then their shitty faces.'
"Having someone like that around is truly a shame."
"What did you say!?" Yinghua had a irk mark on her cheek looking at Lady Lihua's, Ladies in waiting
"Yinghua! Calm down!" Guiyuan and Ailan tried holding her back
'They still haven't learned their lesson? Tch. Whatever.'
Yinghua tried to excape their grasp
"Hey! YOU APOLOGISE TO MAOMAO AND Y/N NOW!" Yinghua yelled
Maomao put a hand over her mouth then above and whispered in a spooky way 'Heh'
and I just gave them the worst glare
The ladies got scared and frozed in place
"What can't talk all of a sudden? Why?" I teased
"I-I think thats e-enough for today! G-Goodbye!" They left quickly
