༄Kamaki finally emerged from the dense woods, her heart pounding with a mix of relief and curiosity. As she stepped into the clearing, she saw a group of people going about their daily lives. Children ran and played, their laughter filling the air, and everything seemed almost normal. But there was something peculiar that caught her eye: bubbles that lingered in the air, shimmering in the sunlight. No one else seemed to notice or care, so Kamaki decided to keep her observations to herself for the moment. She walked further into the village, taking in the sights and sounds, and that's when she spotted a strange individual.
The man was carrying a massive bag over his shoulder, the contents of which were a mystery. What truly stood out, however, was his mustache. It was comically large and looked entirely fake, adding to the overall peculiarity of his appearance. As Kamaki studied him, she realized that his clothing bore a striking resemblance to the bounty poster she had seen earlier. The resemblance was uncanny, and as she looked closer, she saw that the man behind the mustache was young, with big, expressive eyes. It had to be him—the real Straw Hat.
"There you are, ya little brat!" A familiar voice called out, and Kamaki swiftly turned around to face the fake Straw Hat. Before either of them could say another word, Luffy bumped into the imposter. Luffy seemed unperturbed, his gaze shifting to Kamaki as a warm smile spread across his face. Kamaki returned the smile, a small, tentative grin that belied the whirlwind of emotions she was feeling.
"Im Kamaki," she whispered, extending her hand towards Luffy. "You must be Straw Hat?"
"Yeah, I'm Monkey D. Luffy," he replied with a bright, infectious grin. "And I'm gonna be king of pirates!"
Kamaki was taken aback by his bold declaration, but she managed a smile. "Sounds... interesting," she said, her mind racing with the implications of his words. With a bounty that high, and now finding herself in a world full of pirates, she couldn't help but believe that he might just achieve his dream.
"Well, I believe you," Kamaki said, giving Luffy a thumbs-up, mirroring his smile. That simple gesture seemed to spark something in Luffy, a glint of interest in his eyes.
"Join my crew!" Luffy exclaimed, his enthusiasm undiminished.
Kamaki was caught off guard by his sudden invitation. Join his crew? Was he serious? The smile on his face told her that he was, and before she could respond, the fake Straw Hat approached them, a gun in his hand. An actual gun. Kamaki's eyes widened as he pointed it at them, her heart racing as she braced for the worst. But nothing happened. When she opened her eyes, the man was on the ground, unconscious.
Kamaki followed, her mind a blur of confusion and adrenaline. "Wait—Luffy, where are we even going?!" she called out, trying to keep up with his carefree pace.
Luffy just laughed, his laughter a strange mix of freedom and chaos. Kamaki sighed, deciding to let things unfold as they would. It's not like they were running aimlessly, right?
As they ran, Kamaki glanced back and saw a group of men and soldiers with 'Marine' emblazoned on their jackets. "Uh, Luffy—!" she started to warn, but Luffy was already laughing.
"Straw Hat Luffy and his new crewmate!" one of the Marine soldiers yelled, aiming his gun at them. Kamaki let out a shriek, but Luffy just laughed, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Sentomaru appeared, his voice echoing as he aimed at Luffy and Kamaki. The CP9 suddenly attacked, giving Luffy no choice but to counter with his second gear.
Kamaki watched in awe as Luffy fought, his strength and agility on full display. He was certainly powerful, and it made her want to improve her own abilities. But she still couldn't control her powers, a fact that weighed heavily on her mind. Maybe that's why her parents left her, and why she suddenly woke up in this strange new world.
As Luffy took down the CP9, Kamaki did him a small favor by picking up the huge bag filled with food supplies. Luffy looked back at her, his eyes sparkling with gratitude.
"Thanks, Kamaki," he said, his voice filled with warmth.
Kamaki's smile grew wider. "My pleasure, captain," she replied, her heart swelling with a newfound sense of belonging.
Luffy's eyes sparkled with happiness and joy as he put his fists in the air and jumped up. "Yahooo!" he exclaimed, his laughter echoing through the air.
Kamaki shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips. This idiot, she thought, but deep down, she knew she was exactly where she was meant to be.
