The Shark and The Siren

Chapter 7:

(A/N: It's day now :3)

As Moon swims through he water, he can feel the water temp shift. "Huh...sirens must live in colder waters. I don't remember the water being this warm.." He puts his hands up, "feeling" the water. It definitely felt warmer to him. He continued the swim back to his home. As he swims, he couldn't stop thinking of that interaction. He chuckled, a light blush spreading on his face, but was interrupted by a creepy feeling crawling up his spine, making his scales stand up a little in alarm. He spins around, yet see's nothing. "Who's there?!" He shouts out. His pulse rises as he looks around frantically. He's being watched. Maybe followed. "SHOW YOURSELF!!" He shouts, before feeling a sharp pain on his head. Everything goes black.

    When Moon rises again, the waters around him are freezing. "Where am I?" He shuttered from the chill, and looks around. He's in some sort of prison cell. As he turned his head, the pain in it returned. He winced, and gingerly touched the area. "Ow.." he mumbled before getting up. He looks around the unfamiliar area, and sighs. He takes a deep breath in, scenting out the area, and smells an ungodly amount of sirens. "Why am I here? Did Sun..." he began to question. "No. Sun would never..." He mumbled. He gently lays his hand on the coral bars keeping him contained, and scratches them lightly. These coral bars are easily breakable. But what if the sirens thought ahead? "Only one way to find out." Moon says to himself, before turning and swimming to the back of his oddly small cell. Maybe Sirens are used to having smaller prisoners. He turned again, and charged at the bars. He slams his body into with full force, and breaks them apart. He felt bad for hurting the coral, since they're usually alive, and looks back at them. He looks at his arm, and see's blood running down it. "Hm. Guess I'm getting a new scar." He mumbled.

    He looks around for an exit until someone called out "Freeze!" Moon looks behind him, and see's two siren guards, plated in pearl armor. Moon now knows where he's at. The Sirens Castle. His tail gently sways in the water as he's looking at the two guards. "Uh...right. I can't exactly do that-" Moon says in a smartass tone. The guards roll their eyes and quickly move towards him. Moon panicked a bit, and swims away. But this space felt so cramped..and small. (A/N: It was actually a really large prison, he's just freaking out 😉).

    He stops fleeing as the pain in his head worsens. "What did they do to me..?" He mumbled to himself as he passes out again.

    When he wakes again, he's in a more reenforced cell, with guards to watch him this time. He groaned before he started panting. He's not moving. He gets up, and starts the sway his tail gently to get the oxygen to his gills. He looks around to get his surroundings, and began to explore his cell. It was only a little bigger than the last one. He touched the walls, and bars, everything. He even smelled the different scents of who was in this cage prior to him.

    His scales raise just a little when he felt an extremely dark presence behind him. He felt...terrified for the first time. Genuinely. He slowly turned around to see this...odd siren behind him. This siren was laced in pearls, scars, and had a crown resting upon his head. His colors ranged from golds to blacks and oranges. A bit of red here and there. And he was massive. This siren was the biggest Moon had ever seen. Surprisingly, Moon's seen a lot of sirens before. But this was a whole different being. "Why's a Shark in my kingdom?" The large siren says, his voice deep and laced with a lot of danger. (A/N: C.Ai has helped with my story wording & descriptions :3)

    Moon shuttered at this, and wished to back away. But he can't, given he's a shark. Sharks can't swim backwards. But he didn't want to turn his back to this being. "I was exploring. I wasn't even in your territory, and I was attacked. I woke here.." moon says in a really quiet tone. He keeps his tail movements calm and relaxed as he gets stared down by this King of a Siren. King Eclipse chuckled, his deadly sharp teeth showing. "Do I scare you, little orca?" He bends to moons height, and grabs the bars. Moons pupils expand in fear, his chest rising and falling quickly. He lowers himself, as some sort of submission, but he keeps his tail moving. Eclipse seems the tail moving as a threat, and puts a sharp finger on Moons fin. Moon freaked out, and whips his tail away. This guy was trying to kill him. Moon turned and swam to the back of the cell, and hugs the wall, keeping his tail moving. King Eclipse erupted in loud, deep laughter. "Little orcas tail sensitive?" Eclipse teases. "I'm not a full orca.." moon says, his voice shaking from fear.

    "I can see that. Mutt." Eclipse says in a deep, disgusted tone. Moon lowered himself in a cowardly position. Moon's deeply sensitive about himself being a mutt.

    "Bring him to the courtyard at half past 3. We'll get rid of it there." Eclipse says to his guards, getting nods of understanding, before swimming off.

    'Getting rid of it?' Moon thinks. 'Could he mean me..?'
