-Waldens apartment-

“Dad, I'm fine. Please let me go to the store.” “You had a seizure the other day, your medicine is not working as well anymore. I'm not going to take that chance.” “Your not being fair!” “I don't care Ella, what do you even want from the store???” “I just wanted to get out and get away from you!” “Fine.” Walden storms out and slams the door.

-waldens pov - Walden office -

God fucking damn it. I stormed into my office and slammed the door. I hear my assistant knocking on my door. “If someone's not dying go away.” my assistant….I forgot their name anyway they opened the door. “What do you “uh…it's Ella.” I stand quickly.  “What about her!? What happened!” “uh-we…” “WHAT HAPPENED!?” “I can't find her.” “......WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T FIND HER!?” “I went to give her some lunch but I couldn't find her…” “go get Barnaby.” “But…” “NOW!” I get up from my chair

-three hours later-

“Fuck! Where is she!” “Walden she'll be okay.” I slam my fist down on the table. “You don't know that Barnaby!” “we'll look some more in the morning-” “NO! I can't sleep not knowing where my baby is.” Barnaby wraps me in a hug. I usually don't like hugs but I really needed it then.

-Ella’s pov-

I sit on the bench while waiting for the bus. Just then someone sits nexts to me. I look up and it's Julie. “How did you find me?” “You shared your location with me a few months back.” “Oh…” “why?” “He has been up my ass won't let me do anything since I had a seizure.” “He's just worried about you. He hasn't sat down or taken a break Barnaby had to force him to eat something he just loves you okay?” “Why does he love me? I'm just a burden, all the medicine and care, I'm not even his kid.” “Because your his beautiful daughter he loves you so much I can't put it in words.” tears run down my face. “Oh come here.”

-waldens pov-

“Where even is Julie”? “Wallden sits down and take a breath.” “Don't tell me what to do Sally!” “Walden, I'm just trying to help.” “fuck your right im sorry i should take a breath.” I sit on the floor. “Walden?” “What Sally?” “It's Ella.” “I know, she's missing.” “No look up.”

“Fucking hell what?” I look up and see Ella standing there with Julie. I stood up and ran to her. I wrap my arms around her. “Baby where were you?” “I'm sorry.”

Ella buried her head into my shoulder and cried we cried together "why...where did you go?" "I went to the park then I went to the bus stop but Julie stop me." "Promise me you won't do this eyer again." "I promise."
