The Rainbow Friends looked around the theme park, "Ruby!" Blue shouted, "Ruby!" Purple looked around the women's bathroom, "Ruby..." they said lowly; when they heard nothing, they sighed, "No good..." they said lowly before walking away.

Yellow glided around Blue's Castle, "No sign of Ruby anywhere; hopefully she's alright." he said. Cyan sprinted around the plaza, "Where are you, Ruby!" she shouted.

Cyan spotted Orange sleeping on a table; a tick mark formed on her head before swatting him with her tail, making him yelp, "Get your ass up and help us!" she shouted. Orange hit the ground and groaned, "What a pain..." he said lowly.

Green walked around the river with his arms out, "It makes sense I'd walk my usual path... I'm pretty much useless when it comes to finding someone..." he said. Green heard sobbing, surprising him, "That must be Ruby... she's close by..." he said before walking forward.

Ruby sat under the bridge with tears falling down her face, "Ruby?" she glanced toward the source. Ruby spotted Green soon after, "Oh, it's only you, Green..." she said lowly before looking at her lap, "I'm sorry about my... outburst with Blue..."

Green shook his head, "It's not a big deal." he said before sitting across from Ruby, "Speaking of Blue... you have some sort of past with him when you were both human, don't you?" Ruby glanced away, "You could say that..." she said.

Ruby looked at Green, "A few years ago, my family moved to the city when my Dad found a new area for his family business." she continued.

Ruby looked down, "When I attended the new school, all the kids wanted to pick on the new kid." she said, "They always made fun of me for meditating on the playground instead of chatting with others."

Green tilted his head, "You meditate?" he asked. Ruby nodded, "It feels nice to meditate outdoors, and it brings me peace." she said. Ruby looked down, "But still... no one wanted to hang out with a weirdo like me." she continued, "That is... until I met Ben."

Green looked at Ruby, "So Ben is Blue's human name, huh?" he asked. Ruby nodded, "Correct." she said before looking down, "He asked if he could join meditating with me; at first, I was suspicious, but I allowed him to join."

Ruby slightly smiled, "If it weren't for that faithful day, I wouldn't have gotten to know Ben at all." she continued, "We became so close that we decided to be a couple."

Ruby held her legs close to her, "One night, Ben was taking me to ODD World for our date, but..." she said lowly. Tears fell from Ruby's eyes, "We crashed into a tree... and I never saw him again..." she continued.

Ruby placed her head on her knees, "Now that I finally see him again after so many years... he gains amnesia and forgets me..." she said before shivering, "Fate can be very cruel sometimes... it makes me wish that I got amnesia as well... so that I could forget this nightmare of a life..."

Green frowned and held his arms out; they wrapped around Ruby, making her look at them. Green pulled Ruby close, surprising her, until he held her, "I know my words don't mean much, but... I'm sorry you had to go through so much pain..." he said.

Green gently petted Ruby's head,  "I know that someday... Blue will have his memories back, and he'll remember you..." he continued. Ruby looked at Green with awe before looking down with a slight smile, "Thank you for listening to me, Green." she said.

Green nodded, "If you ever want to tell me anything, I'll lend an ear out for you." he said. Ruby's ears twitched, shocking her; she sat up and looked around. Green looked at Ruby, "Is something wrong?" he asked. Ruby looked around, "I think someone's hopping over the fence." she said.
