chapter 2. flying for the first time

Alexandria pov:

I wake up in my bed and look at the clock 9am on the dot. I smile cause I actually look forward to the day cause I'm gonna be free and I'm flying for the first time as an adult at that, I then realized I'm an adult now that means my foster family can't stop me from leaving. I then get out of bed and get ready for the airport cause I leave real soon. I make sure I have my belongings that I don't wanna leave behind cause knowing them they will toss it or sell it for money. As soon as I am done I call for a cab to come get me and drive me to the airport as I wait I get excited cause I'm finally leaving and living my dream for once cause it's all I've ever dreamed of. I walk downstairs with my suitcase and make some food for myself since I'm hungry and plus I got no one to stop me from eating all the food I want to eat. I then place the dirty dishes in the sink leaving it for my foster family to deal with when they come back after a few weeks from thier family get away trip. I then walk out the door since I see my cab has finally arrived I get my bag in the backseat and get into the cab. "Where we going ms?" The older man in the driver seat says awaiting for my reply. I then say " to the airport please" he nods his head and starts driving away from my childhood house I stare back with fresh tears cause I'm finally doing this I'm gonna live my dream and I'm gonna be free from being thier maid I'm gonna be my own person with my own life I won't be under thier rules.
As we drive away I don't look back and I don't regret leaving cause I wanna be happy living my dreams showing everyone I can make it in this world. I turn around sighing in relief that it's over and I smile at the thought before the driver picks up a conversation with me. " so why are ya leaving going on vacation or something?" He asks as we get on the freeway to the airport. " I uhh got a job opportunity with a fashion designer being his assistant and stuff which is my dream" I say shyly cause I get shy around new people sometimes especially since he's a stranger. He nods his head " wow congrats on the job I wish you good luck ms" he says with a bright smile and I smile back at his kind words as it starts to rain.
I then settle in my seat messaging my brother saying I'm leaving to Paris for the job opportunity and the many things that happened yesterday as well cause he deserves to know everything as I finished my message I hit send next thing you know my phone goes off I look at the notification and see I have a incoming letter from someone.
I look at the name and it's someone from another country his name is Zach James I smile finally getting a letter from someone and even one out of the country around My age as well wonderful I thought as I smiled at the letter that's coming in. As I got lost in my thoughts I feel the cab come to a stop and I look up and see that we are at the airport I pay the cab driver and grab my bag thanking him for the ride to the airport and he nods smiling before driving away leaving me on my own journey that I was gonna start once I got on the plane.
I walk into the large airport and see many people rushing around to get to thier flights I go and check in with desk and get my suitcase checked as well and head over to the terminal where my gate is as I walk I decided to let my brother know I'm leaving to Paris for the fashion show that will happen very soon and that I will let him know when I land. I then stand in front of the window watching the planes take off from the runway thinking that will be my plane and once I'm gone I'm free from my awful family no more will I be there cook and maid whenever they want I'm gonna be a someone I'll have my own fashion line one day. I then take a seat and wait for when the plane is boarding. I take out my sketch pad full of my designs that I have kept hidden from everyone cause I was always afraid my sisters would destroy it like the many other things they broke of mine. I start to draw some more designs as I wait cause there's not much else but then my stomach starts to growl I then out my stuff away and head over to get some food and something to drink before the plane starts to board. As I was leaving I heard some girls start talking and my interest perks up when I hear the name of my brother. " I can't believe I managed to get tickets to see the men who can sing!!" The girls started shrieking in joy as they started talking about having crushes on Zach,Joshua, Nathan . I didn't hear much more since I walked away with a smile cause they didn't know that I was the sister to one of the members and no one really knew about his siblings I was hidden of course cause I wanted to and namely cause my foster parents didn't want me seen cause I would embarrass the entire family with my face. I then walk to the gate and start to hear that they are calling people to come board the plane ad I walked on I started to look for my seat and I then put my bags in the overhead before sitting down next to the window and I saw all the airplanes and people loading in the bags and started to relax but was also nervous cause what if Mr Adam Rock didn't like me when I got there then I'd have to fly back before my family gets home and clean the house or try and get in contact with my brother and stuff. I started to calm myself down cause I know it will be fine either way cause I could always just start my own fashion line and hope it takes off but even if it doesn't I have money that will help me in the end. I started to relax as rhe plane started to take off after the whole plane safety was done and I knew this was a new start to my life no more being told what to do and being someone I'm not I'm gonna follow my dreams and find my father while doing it.
