chapter 4. where going to Italy!!! and chaos...

Alexandria pov:

I woke up and glanced at the time. It read 7 a.m., and I sighed, not immediately processing that I needed to be ready before eight o'clock. The realization that we were going to Italy today hit me, and I jumped out of bed. I double-checked my suitcase and my guitar, just in case I wanted to use it later.

Even though it wasn't even seven-thirty yet, I took the quickest shower ever. I rushed to dry my hair and put it in a high ponytail. I grabbed my clothes, which consisted of shorts and a crop top that showed off my tattoo and belly ring. I got them when Addie had her 21st birthday party. We got small tattoos that day. Mine was a small quote, "I took the leap of faith on my own, now I'm happy," on my side because that's where I wanted it.

After putting on my undergarments, I slipped into my ripped dark jeans. I found my favorite pair of open-toed sandals, grabbed my bag and sunglasses, and headed downstairs. I grabbed a quick breakfast before my boss and Addie arrived to pick me up so we could all head to the airport. We were going to be riding first class via his private jet, which I honestly didn't expect. But I'll take it. I've never been in first class before, so I'm excited!

I looked at the time, and it was seven-thirty. I needed a quick meal, so I settled for a granola bar and some fruit. While I waited, I texted my pen pal about my trip to Italy. Hopefully, he's awake since he's in another state somewhere. He wouldn't tell me where. I also messaged my brother to see how he's doing since it's been a while and to see if he liked the present I bought him for his birthday, which was yesterday.

Then I heard a loud knock at the door and some shouting from none other than Addie. "Alexandria, wake up! We're going to Italy today!" she said excitedly through the door. I grabbed my belongings and headed towards the door, putting my keys in my purse.

"Hold your horses, I'm here. Let's go. Where's the car?" I asked as I closed and locked my apartment door.

"It's outside, and Adam went all out. He got a limo for us to ride to the airport and to the hotel and fashion expo," she said as we walked into the elevator to head down to where he was. I nodded, quite shocked that he got a limo for us to take to the airport. But then again, knowing him and how it's my first time going, he probably wanted to go all out on everything.

" oh my gosh Lexie look at the hotel we get to stay in" Addie shouts her eyes shinning in happiness. I looked out the window to see what was so special but then I was breathless the hotel we are staying at is a famous one. the hotel is one of the ones I wanted to stay in but i couldn't afford it and so many rich people and celebrities stayed at this hotel I cant believe I'm staying at hotel the luce de sole!!! I look at Addie and we both start freaking out in a good way.

"Alright, girls, calm down. We're here. Let's get checked in. Don't worry, I made sure that we all get our own rooms on the same floor, with the best views ever," Adam says with a smile as we all pile out of the limo and grab our bags to bring to our rooms. We walk into the hotel, and I am in awe of the lobby. I can tell Addie is as well. There's a water fountain in the middle of the lobby, along with some couches, chairs, and a chandelier hanging proudly above. We walk up to the check-in, and Adam says something in Italian. The lady behind the computer nods her head and types away. After checking his information, out pop three keys to our rooms. He says something, which I can only guess is a thank you, before turning around and handing me and Addie our room keys. "Now, girls, I want you to be very careful with the room keys. If you lose them, then come see me, and I will get you some new ones. Addie, your room is further down the hall from Alex's room, same floor but much further down. Once we get up to our rooms, I want you both to get ready for the fashion show. I hope you guys have your outfits for the night, and please be on time because we are all leaving together. Also, we are going to be having some surprise guests at the show, and no, Addie, I will not be telling you," Adam says as we get off on our floors. Addie gives him a sad face before she books it to her room, screaming, "Just for that, I'm going to order room service!" We both laugh and smile because she will definitely do that. "As for you, if you want to order some food, it's alright. It's all included with the hotel rooms, so don't worry about it being pricey," Mr. Adam says, and I smile, nodding my head. "Yeah, I know. I'm just nervous for the show, to be honest, because I've never done this before. What if no one likes my designs? What if I fall when I'm on stage going up and going down?" I say, freaking myself out before he puts his hand on my shoulder and has me look up into his eyes before he says something that puts me at somewhat ease. "Hey, Lex, it will be fine. I promise you that. I was the same way when I was in your shoes, trust me. But once you get on that stage, the nerves disappear when you picture yourself in an empty room where it's only the people you know. Plus, me and Addie will have your back. Now go and get settled and get ready for the show," he says, and I thank him before going to my room so that I could get ready for the show tonight. I hope he is right, I thought to myself.
