Jungkook pov

"The night Hyojoo were kidnapped was the night she recorded all the conversation she had with Mr. Choi, and whatever he done to her." I look at Yn's dad who has sadness in his eyes as he listen the Yn's confession.
Me, Seojun and Mr. Shin are in control room watching the investigation of Yn.

I turned my attention back to the investigation. officer Lee's next question brought a drawn expression on Yn's face. 

"But Miss Yn, whatever you told us is not proof that Mr. Choi is the one who kidnapped Hyojoo and killed her. How can you make such a big allegation on Mr Choi?"

"Officer, Mr Choi himself said this in front of me that he knew that Hyojoo was recording him, Why would anyone kidnap Hyojoo, Mr. Choi is the only one who can do this to protect himself."

"It can be you, you can also be the one who kidnapped and killed her, All the evidence is against you, all the evidence is pointing you out, not Mr Choi?" Mr. Lee is trying to confuse Yn, trying to manipulate her, Investigation always uses this trick so that if the person is hiding something then they gets confused and tells the truth.

"Both of you were the best employees of your department and she won best employee of the year award this year, so, maybe you are jealous of her because of this"

"I have never been jealous of her, we are good friends and if she gets praise for her hard work then I will be happy for her, not jealous." Yn speaks in a strong voice.

"But Miss Yn, by this you are not proved innocent and the evidence is against you, Have you seen how brutally Hyojoo was murdered?"

Officer Lee keeps the photos of Hyojoo's dead body in front of Yn. Almost the last stage is to make the suspect feel guilty so that they confesses all his crimes and tells the whole truth.But this is too much, because this trick is used for some criminals.

Yn threw away the picture with disgust as she looked at it and started crying. Officer Lee shouldn't have done this, it's too much for Yn.

"Look, all this has happened because of you." Mr Lee's word make Yn to cry more.

"That's it." I get up from my place, was ready to go confession room to stop Mr. Lee from speaking further.

"Sir Jeon please control yourself" Seojun's voice stopped me from walking, I turned towards him, "what do you mean Seojun?" I raised my eyebrows.

"I also know that what the officer Lee is doing is too much for Miss Yn but this is his duty which he is doing it properly, so control yourself."

I know that Seojun is taunting me, without paying any attention to him, I came out of the room and went straight to the confession room.

I opened the door of the confession room with a loud bang "Officer Lee, that enough"

"Officer Jeon, this is my work and you can't stop me from doing my work in the middle like this."  My attention wasn't on officer Lee's words but on the person sitting in front of him crying hiding her face between her hands. 

"Yn" I call her in low voice, But I did not get any answer except the sound of her sobs. I approached her and called her again. This time she moves her hands from her face and looks at me, her eyes were filled with tears. I felt a pang in my chest when I see her like this. I held her wrist and pulled into my embrace.

"Hyojoo, I killed Hyojoo, she died because of me." She spoke between her sobs.

"Officer Jeon you are interpreting in my investigation, and I can take action for that"

"Just shut up!, can't you see what you have done to her, it's okay if you want to take action, do it,  but now you will not questioning her anymore, get out of here." I know my Yn didn't do anything, I believe her and I don't need any proof for this.

"Yn, it's not your fault" I tried to console her.

"Officer Jeon-"

"Officer Lee you can leave for now" Mr. Shin speaks to Officer Lee as if he has come into the room.

"Okay sir"

I pull Yn by her shoulders, and  looked into her eyes and said, "Yn, listen to me, you have done nothing, it is not your fault"

"Yn!" Mr. Shin call his daughter.

“Dad! I'm sorry” She went to her father and hugged him, “Dad I'm really sorry I should have told you what's going on, I should have told you about Hyojoo, maybe she would be alive today."

I walk out of the room, leaving father and daughter alone to talk. As soon as I came out of the room, Seojun was standing in front of me, his eyes flashed with anger, ignoring him I walk from there.

Seojun pov

I was looking at Jungkook sir's passing figure, I couldn't believe that he was the same Jeon Jungkook whom I had known for the last 2 years.

No, this is not the Jeon Jungkook I knew, he was so dedicated to his work and now he is ready to ignore everything for a girl. Who never came to show his emotions to anyone, but today he go against everyone just for the sake of one girl who is suspect for a murder.

He was trying so hard to catch the serial killer, he was so dedicated, but today he ignored all the clues, because the suspect is the girl he loved.

I didn't know love could change a person this much, You may have changed sir but I'm not. You can ignore at all the cules but I'll not.

I have worked with you for 2 years and I have learned from you that no matter what happens, do your work with complete devotion, And I will do my work with full devotion, even if I have to face you, I'm not going back.
