"Mom, Minjung is not home, he went to meet dad at his house, I even told him not to go there, but he still went to meet her, it's been more than 4 hours and he's still not home, mom I'm scared what if dad-"

Mother gently wrapped her arms around her trembling child, offering warmth and protection in a moment of fear. "Don't be afraid Minjung will be safe I'm going to get him back home." She said gently rubbing his back.

He gave a nod and then loosened his hold on his mother.

She raced to her ex-husband's house at top speed to retrieve her son.

She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw her son eating fruits and watching TV.

"Minjung" She hurried to her son and embraced him in her arms. "Lets go Home" she took his hand to guide him towards the car, but her son pulled his hands away from her grasp.

"I don't want to" He sits back on the couch. "I want to stay with dad."

"Minjung listen to me-"

"What do you want? First you cheated me, now you want to take me away from my kids too." She turns to the  voice of her ex-husband. "Joo-ryoung either you stay with me or let my kids stay with me."

"So that you can vent out your anger on us, I am neither going to live with you nor will I let my kids stay with you." She burst in anger, grabbed her son's hand, and marched towards her car.

"Minjung, would you like to go to the amusement park, you Yn Minsang, I'm free the day after tomorrow, so I can take you guys there." She tries to interact with her son, who has been looking outside of window since he w seat in the car.

But she gets no reply from him, feeling disappointed, but decides to give him some space. She shifts her focus to driving.

"Mom, i want icecream." She looked towards her son who had his eyes locked on the icecream truck in the park.

She stops the car on the side and gets out of the car with a smile and walks towards the icecream truck.

Seeing his mother getting out of the car, son also gets out of the car but instead of following his mother, he goes in the opposite direction.

He spots some stones in the park, grabs a bigger one, and makes his way to his car.

He gave his mom a quick look, hopped into the car, put the stone on the seat, and positioned himself so that the stone was hidden from his mom's view.

She approached with a big, bright smile, holding her son's favorite ice cream. Passing it to him, she settled into her seat and drove off.

"Do you like it?" She asked, watching his son slowly enjoy his ice cream, as it was his habit to savor his favorite foods slowly.

"Hmmm" he responded.

"Mom, why can't we stay with dad?" He asked his mother, still looking outside of the window.

His mother looked at him, "because he is not a good man," she replied.

Her son turned his gaze to her, which was full of anger, "Is he not a good man or are you not a good woman?" he questioned, his tone filled with anger.
